hello all my beloved friends...
The sound of drizzle fell like soothing music. I woke up at dawn and immediately carried out my obligations as a Muslim. I prayed 2 rakaat and did not forget to pray for goodness. After folding the mukena, I walked through the hallway of my house between the 2 small bedrooms. I looked out the window and saw the silence and also the calm silence of dawn.
I took a red plastic chair and sat in front of the window and contemplated, "rain water falls to wet the earth, giving life to other creatures, while I have complained a lot and I realize how lacking I am in gratitude". After a few minutes of sitting, I felt mosquitoes starting to wake me up who was drowning in contemplation.
After cleaning the house, I also didn't forget to chase away the evil mosquitoes by opening the window and chasing them away. Oh, I don't know what kind of wind it will be today. Afiza also didn't go to school because I was worried she would get caught in the rain. All the children were still fast asleep even though it was already 8:30 in the morning. It seemed like I would follow in their footsteps.
Before that happened, suddenly the microphone from Meunasah gave an important announcement, Posyandu!. Yes, today is Posyandu day in September. I then got ready and not long after my troops woke up. They woke up with sleepy eyes, but when they saw me neat, their curiosity arose and when I told them my purpose, they immediately got ready and didn't forget I prepared their breakfast, tea and bread with egg filling.
When we arrived at the Posyandu (Meunasah), we were expected to register. The Posyandu cadre recorded all the necessary information and I and the children went straight to the next post. Only children aged 5 years and under were allowed, while Afiza who also came with us just watched.
Ghaisan was still over 4 years old and when he entered the weighing scale, he only weighed 15.35 kg. He was sick with a fever and had a poor appetite. Then Ghaisan had to measure his height. He was 103.5 cm tall, only 1 cm more than last month.
After that, we went to the next post to measure the circumference of the hands and also the head. The children were very obedient, in just a short time the cadres had found their information. They wrote on the paper that was given when registering and then finished.
Before I gave the "pink" book to be filled in by the cadres, there was one KPM student who asked for my help to fill out the questionnaire. He gave some questions about Hamzah's food and its types, then he filled it in. I forgot to ask what the information was for. I'm sure he was doing some research or data for his final assignment.
Finally, we reached the final stage. I had to give the paper containing the children's development to the cadres. They then wrote it on the graph. For the past 2 months, the children's development has been stable (no increase or decrease). Actually, there should be... This small paper was not allowed to be taken home because there was other data that had to be filled in by the cadre, and the cadre was unable to attend.
This is the last session that the children have been waiting for. In fact, the food given is quite simple, boiled eggs, raw tempeh, agar-agar, sticky rice, and what they like the most is green bean porridge. Because I have two children, they gave me 2 portions of this food, which is quite good for cooking. Before we even got home, this food only had tempeh and its place left. 🤭
In the afternoon after taking a short break. My husband, my children and I went for an afternoon walk. The children felt a little bored and wanted to see other things. Because the children still had a little fever, we just went to the next village and stopped by to buy noodles, this weather is good for eating noodles.
Although there was no one queuing, it turned out that several empty plates had been neatly arranged. It turned out that we were the fourth customer. Wow, it turned out to be long. I could only hold back our laughter, we thought we were the only customers at this time. However, I didn't feel bored because we talked about many things including his brother who would soon propose to a village girl in our village. Hopefully everything will be made easy and smooth.
After getting our order, we went straight home. On the way, we met the children's grandmother, we offered her noodles but she couldn't eat it because her stomach was having problems. When we got home, we ate it right away, and I also made fried noodles for the kids and we ate together.
