Hi everyone, how are you doing hope all is well by the grace of God, it's my pleasure to participate in writing this contest tell your story .

The story is about what happened a while ago in our locality where two friends who grew up together with a vision of aspiring to become something in future, one turned out wasting her life because of greediness, lack of patience and stubbornness.

In life, one may be confronted with an adverse situation that makes one depressed and disillusioned with life. Such a situation may be a blessing in disguise.

It happened that after they had finished their Education, as best friends they decided to go job hunting in order to move on in life but unfortunately the case of (Eunice) turned around.

how did it happen, after a lot of searching for job, Eunice start searching online job where she found one and she contacted through the phone number, but her friend Esther who was security conscious had to informed her parents about it, but both parents turned down the idea while Eunice refused heeded to the advice of her parent and her friend, she finally made up her mind to meet the man who was a retualis pretending to be an helper to her.

When she answer the call with joy that she has where she will be working and earn a huge amount of money at the end of the month, she never thought that a journey of no return await her, l mean death.

On reaching the area where she supposed to meet other workers in the workplace for interview and proper orientation was her final destination despite her struggling to be saved.

This was a sad moment for the parents, the family and the friend who warned her, it was so heart broken about what happened to her, they finally arrested the culprit along side of her corps where he stabbed her to death.

That is where her dreams crushed and left the family in pains and grief mourning the loss of her absence.

Esther her friend who was obedient to her parents was grateful to God that she was alive though she had felt for her later got a job at a private school as a teacher.

Although she was disappointed with her parents decision which safe her life but it was indeed a blessing in disguise, this was a good lesson to children not to disobey their parents instruction so as to achieve their desire dream and goal.

In conclusion based on scriptural instruction (children obey your parents for this is right , honour your father and mother which is the first commandment with promise ,that he may be well with you and you May live long on earth )
If Eunice was heeded to parents instruction she wouldn't met untimely death.
