SEC19 W5: A change is as good as a holiday by @monz122

Hello everyone this is Monz from India, hope you are doing great and enjoying your days happily. So a new week with new contest has finally arrived and yet again I am here with my participation.

Like always I would like to thank the ladies of this community fort choosing an easy topic for us so that most of the people can take part in this contest without any hesitation. I would like to invite my friends @sikha12, @reeta01 and @ruchii to take part in this contest.

So currently I am in Kolkata due to some urgent work and today I will be giving the update about a day I did all my favourite things. So let's get started with our diary game.

"A day spent in Kolkata the City of Joy"

So I got up early at Monday morning as Sawan Month is going on and every month most of the Sanatanis keeps fasting and pray to Lord Shiva. So due to travelling I was not able to fast but I took bath and did my prayers.

Around 5:25 am I left with my brother for the station as my train was at 6:10 am and I reached Kolkata at around 10:35 am . From Santragachi I took a cab to Bhawanipur where I was about to stay. While crossing the roads I captured the most favourite building of mine in Kolkata which is Atmosphere.

Finally I reached my destination at around 1:20 pm and after getting freshen up I took rest for an hour. As I was starving from hunger I started looking for vegetarian foods at Zomato which is an online food delivering app in India but unfortunately I found nothing of my choice.

From here there was a nearby mall Acropolis so I planned to go there and have something. After getting ready I left for the Acropolis Mall and there I did my favorite thing first which was shopping.

Having completed my shopping the next counter for me was some yummy foods so without any delay I ordered Chinese fried idli which is my most favourite dish and as there was more people in the queue I have to wait for around 15 minutes from my food.

Meanwhile I was going through other accessory counters to shop for some jewellery for my sister-in-law but I found everything over priced and too costly. Then it was my turn to take the food.

Having eaten the food I thought of visiting a nearby club I thought of exploring the mall so I went to the club side and there I found a concert was going on so I sat there to enjoy the concert.

I enjoyed the concert very much and as I was getting late to reach my destination I left the mall at around 9:45 pm . I booked a cab and until the time cab arrived I purchased some of my favourite biscuits which was a cookies and hide and seek biscuit.

The cab arrived at around 10:10 pm and having taken the OTP from me he asked me to sit comfortably. Generally the weather of Kolkata is very hot and humid but due to rainy season the weather conditions are good here .

So this was how I spent my day in Kolkata which was not a regular day as for me travelling is my passion and going to new places and meeting new people.

There are many friends of mine in Kolkata but due to few days stay of mine I won't be able to meet them. Kolkata is a place where both rich and poor can survive and I have very fond memories with this city. Hope you guys will enjoy going through my diary.
