Life is so complicated that sometimes I wonder why some people do what they do. Could it be because God is so merciful that he tempers justice with mercy, and so we feel it's right...
A pastor told me that God only answers to us even when we preach one thing and do another thing, because he wants to protect his name. Even in the midst of sin, God answers us, and we feel it's our right or that we merited it; no, it's because God wants to protect his name.
Before you correct others, just make sure you are corrected. You have to take off the log in your eyes to see well and remove that of your neighbor's. You agree with me that a blind man cannot lead the way; it takes a man who can see to lead.
It is good to preach the word, correct others, and lead others rightly, but it is also good to live what you preach. When you tell someone not to steal, make sure you are not a thief. When you tell someone not to lie, be sure you are not a lier. This is more like a reflection of yourself.
I know a woman who was very wealthy and has a lot of money and influence. Her work is to gather young girls and send them to prostitution; she collects the money from her clients and then pays these girls peanuts.
This woman has a daughter but never allowed the daughter outside. She doesn't allow her to have friends or wear clothes of her choice; she would always select her clothes. One day the daughter asked why she's overprotective; she said because the world is evil and some young girls are doing all sorts of things out there, so she doesn't want her to fall victim.
This woman preaches something else to her daughter but lives a different life. The daughter never knew what business her mom does because she will always tell her that she's an importer.
One day, her daughter left the house without her notice and met a friend who was so sweet to her. Guess what? This friend was one of her mother's clients, and unfortunately her daughter fell victim.
This is just what happens when we refuse to live what we preach. A lot of people condemn others because they did wrong openly, so what about that wrong you do secretly? Who would judge you?
When you correct people, make sure to do that with love and passion. Jesus Christ lived what he preached and preached what he lived. Learn to live what you preach and preach what you live!

Yes, you are right about this world and in it you mentioned a woman who used to procure prostitution from other girls and paid them in return and never let her daughter out. She did not allow him to wear clothes, meaning she always kept him under her care and protection. One day she left without asking him and he went with his friend, the same friend who was one of her mother's clients and He also took her as his victim and lust. This is another world and everything in it, like a man does, he also has to pay for it.
