It's another promising week of food thought. I welcome you in peace. So far we have been discussing widely some motivational and inspirational topics that could be of help to someone.
I just hope and believe someone has been saved through out the past week. Just follow suit and keep your hope alive.
This week is another exciting topic. I brought it your way; it says, "Who is your role model?" I guess you know who a role model is? Who is that person you look up to? Who are you imitating? Who do you want to be like?
A role model is that person who you see as perfect, who you wish to live like, and who you wish to follow in their footsteps.
In life, we should be able to detect between good and bad. We should be able to know a good life and emulate it, not the bad ones. A lot of people go after the shadow instead of the content.
Some of the people we portray as role models have their private lives that we don't know of, but they show off just what the world wants to see, and then you say their life is blessed, perfect, amazing, and good, while there is something about them you don't know.
A role model is just like your mentor. Sometimes you don't need to have a one-on-one conversation with them, but you are so sure that they preach the truth; they are truly blessed in public and in private. Sometimes you go to them for advice on how their lives turned out well because you need to follow their footsteps.
If you find it difficult to believe humans or have a mentor, why not emulate our Lord Jesus Christ and follow his foot steps? You might be wondering how it is possible to emulate our Savior's life, but I tell you, it is possible.
Mind who you trust, mind who advises you, mind who you run to for help. Who you look up to determines how your life turns out to be. It's good to have a good role model or mentor, but make sure to find the right one.
There are many fish in the ocean, but when you cast in your net, you either catch a big or small fish or a good or bad fish. Just know when and how to cast your net to catch the best fish.
This is where I draw the curtain for this week. I'll see you next week. Until then, stay blessed and choose wisely.

Thank you for entertaining us with a never “Food Thought” post.
Role models are indeed those special people who serve as an example to others by embodying qualities, behaviors, or achievements that are admired and aspired to by us all.
Integrity and ethics are two of the main characters that stand out for me as role models. Is that not then also why we so often choose our mothers as those special ladies in our lives?
Best wishes!
