Welcome to a new week of possibilities!
I trust you've been following up on the food thought series. I am sure this week would inspire you; don't give up!
And the Lord said, "What do you have in your hand?" (Exodus 4:2). This was God speaking to Moses; he wanted to know what was in the hands of Moses to perform his miracle. It is obvious that God needs something to be in your hands for that miracle to happen.
In the current economic situation of the world, because it's not just in my country, a lot of people are moving empty with nothing in their hands for God to use and bless them. That thing in your hand is a tool for your prepared blessings.
Have you ever imagined what would happen if God had asked Moses what was in his hand and he said "nothing?" Do you think God would have performed anything there? He would have left because Moses was not ready.
You have to prepare yourself before calling for help. Have a running business before asking God to bless you; have a job before you ask for promotion. You can't just sit at home all day, all week, and all year and expect God to bless you.
For instance, you have a clothing business that you go out to sell every day. You have been running this business for two years now, but you can barely feed or pay fees. It's time to ask God for financial help because you are no longer financially stable.
When God comes to answer your request, what do you think he would do? He will bless you through that business you do. He can send just one customer that would purchase almost the whole goods you have.
You must have something in your hand to move God. Miracles do not happen to a lazy man; he only wallows in poverty. When you have nothing, you are drowned in poverty.
Proverbs 13:4: “The soul of the lazy man desires and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.”
What do you have in your hand? What is that tool that will link your blessing? Check yourself today and see if you have something in your hand. Don't turn yourself into a lazy man; else you perish in poverty.
Be prepared and wait, don't wait without being prepared.
