Welcome to this week's food for thought. I couldn't share my update on time because of network problems. I don’t want to keep you waiting, so I have an exciting topic to discuss.

"In all your getting, get WISDOM."

Let’s begin with a question: what is wisdom?

Wisdom is the base of all virtues. It supports all other qualities. Without wisdom, nothing stays together. Without it, nothing lasts.

Wisdom is the most important thing in life. Without wisdom, reason makes no sense, and sanity feels like madness. Wisdom is essential; THEREFORE, SEEK WISDOM.

Among all the things we pursue in life, let’s prioritize the most crucial one. Of everything we can live without, wisdom is not one of them. Pursue education, but don’t sacrifice wisdom for it. Without wisdom, education loses its value.

Build romantic relationships, friendships, and partnerships, but don’t trade wisdom for them. Without wisdom, relationships will not endure. Strive for a career and financial stability, but don’t let wisdom fall behind.

Without wisdom, financial security won’t bring real joy. No hobby is as important as what is mentioned in Proverbs 4:7. No skill or talent compares to the value of wisdom. No job can match the importance of WISDOM.

How are you spending your time?
How are you using your money?

Many people are busy chasing money without understanding how to use it wisely. A well-known Nigerian singer said, "Akonuche is better than your money, your wealth, your spouse, your Lamborghini, or your Ferrari."

"Akonuche" means wisdom. It suggests that without wisdom, you have nothing to live for; you are like a living corpse because you cannot thrive in life without wisdom.

Consider king Solomon. Imagine if two women came to him fighting over a child, but he lacked wisdom. What if he had been a foolish king?

Wisdom is crucial for our personal development and everyday tasks, whether in cooking, business, marriage, or relationships. Everything in life requires wisdom. As you pursue wealth, prioritize wisdom because it is more valuable than money.

In all your pursuits, seek WISDOM! A wise person understands this well.
