Today, I want to share a real-life story that will captivate you. This tale is sure to leave you amazed, so let’s dive in.

A few years ago, I lived in Port Harcourt. While attending church services, I met some great people, along with a few who were a bit annoying. I often visited their homes, and they would come to mine as well.

Among my friends was a woman who lived a carefree life. When I first met her, she had twins that she took everywhere. I assumed she was married since she had more than just the twins.

She had three other children before the twins, but I never asked about her marital status. Over time, I admired how she worked hard to support her kids, taking on various jobs.

The moment I realized she wasn’t married was during a visit to her home. I expected to meet her husband, but instead, she introduced me to her parents, siblings, and her children. I was taken aback.

I couldn’t help but wonder why she was living with her parents with all her kids. It became clear to me that she was single, as the children all had different features.

When I moved away from this city, we kept in touch on social media, and I would ask about her kids. A few months ago, I was surprised to see her posts where she was dressed very revealingly and dancing provocatively. It caught me off guard because I never thought she would do that.

Instead of stopping, she even slid into my DMs asking for money. She told me she hadn’t eaten since the night before and needed cash for food. I quickly replied that I don’t keep cash on hand, so I couldn’t help her right now.

I found it hard to understand how someone could post such explicit videos but still ask for help with food. If she can afford data for those posts, she should be able to buy her own meals. To me, that just doesn’t make sense.

Some might say her friends influenced her, but I believe it’s her own choice to live this way. Seeking attention from men and engaging in questionable activities is a decision she made.

My lesson

• In life, we should strive to make choices that we and our children can be proud of in the future.

• Be content with what you have.

• Understand your limits in everything you do. Know when to agree and when to decline.
