Tell Your Story # 28|| A Surprise Visit From my Girlfriend

A warm greetings to all the beautiful ladies in this community,I believe this festive season looks good on you? I'm here again today to participate in this contest organized by our amiable Mod @ruthjoe and sharing my story here is something that brings joy because the response and suggestions I usually receive from my beautiful sister is a top-notch.

• What happened

My friend works in one of the Chinese company called shineaway that deals on product that heal different alignment so last year she was posted to one of the branch here in Uyo where I reside and due to the nature of her job we rarely see each other but fast forward to July this year the branch manager requested that she should be transferred to the head office in Lagos but she was reluctant because of the hike price of accomodations, transportation and commodity as a whole, but since she's not employer she has no option than to relocate because to have a new job now in Nigeria is not easy and even though it comes it will really take time,so she went to Lagos on August 2024, I can't ascertain the exact date.
So this Christmas,we have been talking although she did not assure me of coming down to Uyo,we just talk casually so on Thursday she started her journey from Lagos to Uyo unknown to me on Friday while I was sleeping after participating in food diary game I just need to rest for a while before cleaning up,has I was still lying down I saw a flash from my friend and I decided to call her and she quickly said come on Whatsapp let chat,
Oh my gosh 😆😆, guess what 🤔🤔, I went online and here's her message 👇👇

I couldn't turn her down I accepted to go get the waybill unknown to me she was the one waiting for me in my brother's shop, when I got to shop what my eyes saw was my girl friend and what came to my mind right away was unkept house because I planned to tidy it up after I had rested a little while,so I thought of what to do I pleased with her to excuse me that I will be back shortly, I ran back to the house sweep, freshen up before going back to pick her to the house.
Although she was not happy at my actions but I pleaded with her to forgive me ,on getting to the house that was evening already I loose her hair

since she wanted traveling the next day to see her parents in Cross River State a neighboring state that Akwa Ibom State was created from .
After loosing her hair we went for an evening program in the church,

attending evening program with my friend

remember she has already eaten, she just wanted to see me, we usually worship together in the same church.
It was a nice day seeing my friend again

• What I have learnt From it

• I learnt that no matter what, the basic thing like keeping the house clean should not be left undone because emergency can occur like my friend who took my unawares

Secondly,we should be prepared for anything by adjusting our schedule to accommodate another person.
