Contest: "Tell your Story #22" how well do you know your friends?

In life there are good friends and there are bad friends. You that have friend how sure do you trust your friends? Drop your comments on the comment section. Join me as I share this story with you may be by the time I finish you will learn one or two things from my story.

Once upon a time in the animal kingdom there was a king who has a daughter so many suitors were coming to ask the king's daughter hand for marriage but she refused.

The king was worried what could make his daughter to reject all the suitors that came to ask her hand in marriage. so one evening, the king called out his children to interact with them.

So on the process, he called "daughter, why is it that among all the suitors that came to ask your hands in marriage non of them you like!."

The daughter said to the king. dad, any body that want to marry must first of all buy me an elephant.

So the next day, the king call the towncryer to announce to the people that the king daughter said that any one who want to marry her daughter must give her an elephant.

So when the tortoise heard it, knowing that elephant travelled and was not around when the announcement was made. Immediately tortoise saw that elephant was back, the tortoise rush to the elephant house.

When tortoise reach elephant house he said "oh my friend thank God you are back. The king is hosting a party tomorrow and he said you are going to be one of the special guest."

When elephant heard it, he was so happy because he's going seat on the high table.

The next day, very early in the morning when elephant was still sleeping, the tortoise came to his house.

By that time elephant was still sleeping the tortoise called his friend elephant oh my friend have you forgotten that you are one of the special guest and you have to be there on time before people start coming.

With the happiness elephant got up and start preparing fast. But before then, the tortoise took a rope from the house. So on their way going, the tortoise was walking slowly while the elephant was walking fast. So each time the elephant turn his back he saw that he is abit far from tortoise.

Out of pity the elephant ask tortoise to climb his back so as that they can arrive on time after all we are friends.

Immediately the tortoise climb the elephant back, he removed a rope from his bag. when the elephant ask tortoise my friend what are you doing with a rope? He said oh please my friend let me use this rope and tie your neck so that I will not fall down.

The elephant never new that his friend tortoise want to tie him and hand him over to the king so that he can marry the king's daughter.

As they got to the king's house, elephant said to tortoise my friend is like we came too early why is it that no body is here? Tortoise said don't worry very soon people will start coming. Immediately the tortoise jump down and went and tie the elephant on the stick that was there. and said, oh my king I have got the elephant for your daughter. I hope I can marry her now.

The king's daughter was happy to marry the tortoise because the tortoise got her an elephant.

Lesson:

Before you escort some one to some where be it your friend or anyone, make sure that you know where you are going so that you will not regret or say hard I know at the end. Also know the type of person you want to make your best friend.
