Tell your story#32(The Unplanned Path)

What happened

A lady named Happiness who happens to be my neighbor traveled to the village during Christmas period to celebrate Christmas with her mother and other siblings because her father is already late.

Her mother and her younger ones lives at the village with her mother. Happiness is the first child of her mother, but hasn't been living at home with her parent since from childhood. She has been living with her Aunty, since she was a child.

Happiness grew up with her Aunty and everything that has do with happiness welfare is being taken care of by her Aunty. Both her health, school, clothes and her general well-being is being cared for by her Aunty.

Her Aunty got married and was unable to give birth to a female child, so she took good care of Happiness and provided all her needs just as she would do for her biological daughter. Happiness and her Aunty really had good time together before the sadden departure of her Aunty.

Happiness lost her beloved Aunty to the cold hands of death early last year. But she still lives in the house with her Aunt's children, the two male children her Aunty left behind. Happiness decided to visit her mother at the village December last year and something she lest expected happened!

Happiness phone shutdown two days after she visited the village because,, the don't have electricity in their village. What the use at the village to charge their phones are solar, it is so unfortunate that happiness house doesn't have solar. She had to carry her phone to their neighbors house to charge.

The neighbor which she wents to charge her phone at his house has been crushing on her for a very long time and wants a relationship with her but happiness kept turning his proposal down because,, she don't want to have anything romantic to do with him.

While the were sitting and gisting, The guy offered her a drink, she opened the drink herself and poured it in a glass cup and drank. She never knew that the guy poured something that will make her sleep on the drink. Few minutes later, Happiness dozed off after drinking the drink that the guy served her.

The guy had sex with her when she fell asleep without her consent. She noticed change in her body when she woke up and asked the guy if he had his way into her while she was sleeping and the guy said no. Because the guy said no, she didn't bother to take any preventative drug when she got home.

Few weeks later when she returned to her late Aunty's house, she noticed changes in her body and suspected that she is pregnant. She used pregnancy test trip and the result came out positive. She couldn't believe her eyes,, so she decided to go to the hospital to confirm the positivity of the pregnancy, to her greatest surprise, the pregnancy test at the hospital came out positive.

She was so heartbroken and sad immediately the result came out positive. She tried aborting the pregnancy immediately she found out but all the abortion pills she took didn't work. The pregnancy refused to terminate. As it stands now,, the lady is planning to go book appointment for abortion.

All her friends are advising her to keep the pregnancy but the lady is insisting on terminating the pregnancy. She said she can't stand the shame of being pregnant for a man who is not her finance,, she don't know how to start explaining this scenario to the person she's planning to get married to. So she thinks the best option is to abort the pregnancy!!

What you have learned from it

I learned to always be cautious about the places I visit, the people I eat from and security conscience as a lady.
