I happily bring No. 50 of “Choices” to you this week.

Umh... after 50 weeks of running this contest, I wonder what it would be.

Elephant, Rhinoceros, Buffalo, Lion, and Leopard!

These were the 5 topics from which you had to pick one to write about in Contest #49. A total of 23 entries were received, of which two did not qualify.

Just a reminder not to forget that this contest requires you to write a post of 550+ words!

I felt so proud reading all your posts this week. Proud to say that I am a child of Africa. One thing I can tell you is that all the posts did the topic justice. In other words, the Big Five entries were excellent!

Unfortunately, with the internet problems we are currently facing in South Africa and also in the rest of Africa, it was impossible for me to reply to all the posts. However, I've read every single one of them and also voted on them.

The topic that received the most attention was “ELEPHANT!”
