Greetings to the beautiful people of this community, I am excited to participate in this contest organized by @shiftitamanna. I am @poolee from Nigeria.
Empowerment: Means to equip people or support ones course.
Education: To a layman is to learn how to read and write. Then;
Women: Are the female specie of human created by God.
Question 1:
How do you see the empowerment of women through education?
Photo from my phone
Back in the days, sending or educating a girl child (woman) was seen as a waste of time and resources especially in my country; A woman's dreams, aspirations, passions, vision all ends in her husband's house or in the kitchen; that's to say there was no need educating a female child when she would eventually get married changed her family name to that of her husband's name, so they saw it that she would become another person's property; whatever she will become would be to her husband. What a mentality. But
Thank God for civilization today who has made women not to leave the kitchen but has also make them to showcase their potentials and visions and vying for big positions in the politics even. So many women are seen attaining so much in education; From degrees, doctorate degrees, even to PhD programs that has made some become professors, isn't that wonderful?. That is made possible through empowering the girl child through education. Without education, they wouldn't have the opportunity occupying big positions, handling big responsibilities or to even have a voice to represent and speak in public functions.
So I would say that; a child is a child whether male or female, what matters is that you should pray that you have money to train all your children equally, because you wouldn't know which of them would come through for you in your old age.
Question 2:
In this case, do women face any obstacles?
Yes, women faces a lot of challenges on daily basis especially when occupying big positions. Because there are some men who still see and rate women as inferior; implying that they are not worthy to rule over them, as such they can't take orders or commands from them; so they'll fall back to frustrating the efforts of the woman who's above them.
And also some men will see women in position as weakling; not being strong, forgetting a saying that says "what a man can do, a woman can do it even better"😀.
So please allow the women in power to do their thing, for the God that took them there would also give them the wisdom to run the affairs of that place.
Question 3:
What is the effect of education on women?
Education has offered women positive effects and benefits by giving us a platform, (including me) to develop our skills, acquire knowledge and develop our thinking abilities that can help us to make decisions that would enhance our growth. And it has made us also to stay informed.
A female education has offered a wide range of opportunities for us to thrive and become relevant in our society today; to relate with the high and mighty. It is education that has given such opportunity.
Through education; a woman is enlightened about the number of children to have inorder to be able to Carter for them comfortably and this knowledge has help curb poverty in a way.
For instance: if you check our society today; it is the uneducated people that bears children like chicken whereas the educated ones; the highest number of children is 3.
And also education gives a woman boldness and confidence to face whatever crowd it is, because she's well equipped; her dressing, eloquent and mannerisms won't give room to fear, for she knows what to say per time.
Question 4:
What do you think can be the initiatives and programs to empower education through women?
There's one past governor in my state (Akwa Ibom state) by name his Excellency Godswill Obot Akpabio, the man did something that made him earned the love and supports of the people; he practical offered free education to every child from primary school to secondary school levels and that gave every child whether boy or girl the privilege to go to school; he even went extra miles by providing books and writing materials to every schools across the state and that was a great initiative scheme that empowered women through education.
I think similar things can be done by different NGOs, organizations or even well to do individuals as a way of giving back to the society, you may call it "humanitarian services". You can imagine the blessings you'll gain from putting smiles on the faces of so many people.

This is a powerful and inspiring post! Your words are a testament to the transformative impact of education on women's lives. It's incredible how far we've come from the days when educating a girl child was seen as a waste of time. Now, women are breaking barriers and achieving great things, thanks to education. Your points about the obstacles women still face are so valid, but it's heartening to see that education is empowering women to overcome these challenges. Education is indeed the key to unlocking women's potential, and it's amazing to see how it's enabling women to thrive, become informed, and make informed decisions. Your conclusion is spot on - education gives women the boldness, confidence, and wisdom to face any challenge. Keep shining and inspiring others to do the same!

Women face the challenge of trying to stand out in the society where men dominate. Where women are seen as less important beings, but you see education and success break the protocol to give women a lift.
Best wishes in the contest .
