Hello to all of you!

Firstly thanks to the community, which is giving us a chance to express our views on different types of things in the world, these contests had really open the locks of minds.

So today i wanted to express my views about "Thumb".

Sometimes I feel that the subjects which we do not even think of writing about, often seem so important to us that we think that we did not even think about this, this is such a valuable subject.

We cannot even imagine not having a thumb and without which we cannot do many tasks related to hands, the first of which is writing, perhaps today I would not be writing on this topic if I did not have thumbs in my hands, for this I thank God that although he has given me less height but he has made me complete in all the organs.

"Thumb and many works" this is true for the proverb one pomegranate hundred diseases. This thumb is small but if its works are described then many pages will be filled.

There are so many works like cooking food, driving vehicle, drinking water, cleaning utensils, washing clothes etc for which we have to take help of thumb.

I cannot even imagine my life without it. But what happens if we sleep or imagine, there are many people in the world who are missing some or the other body part and they get used to living without it.

I remember when I had started teaching, a student came to me. I taught him for many days but I did not even come to know that he did not have a thumb on his left hand. After a long time, around 6-7 months, one day after getting marks in the test, I gave punishment to all those children whose marks were less. I was scolding everyone one by one though I have more skill in teaching with love and understanding than beating the children, so I always try to encourage the children and motivate them to study, but sometimes I have to beat them a little.

So yes, that day I was in the mood to punish the children For this, I picked them up and told each child to put their hand forward because I don't like beating, so I was beating them lightly, then suddenly my attention went to the hand of that child, he did not have a thumb on his left hand, I was stunned, I said, where is your thumb?

He said that I don't have my thumb since my childhood when I was 6-7 years old. I asked how, he told that - "once in the village I beat up my uncle's son and ran and hide behind the fodder cutting machine (fodder cutting machine is the one in which fodder is cut for the animals). I did not even realize, my hand was placed at the place where the fodder is cut, I kept sitting hidden due to fear, after a while I heard the sound of someone coming, due to fear I held the machine more tightly, then someone started operating the machine, my thumb must have been placed at that place, whether uncle came or not, what happened, I do not know anything, but when I opened my eyes there was a lot of pain in my hand, 20 years ago probably the painkillers were not this strong, I saw that mother was crying a lot, my child's thumb was cut, everyone was saying something or the other to each other and were also very upset."

On hearing her words, my hand stopped right there and instead of scolding him, I hugged him. By the way, we all have to understand that all the parts of the body have their own importance. The ring has its own style; a different style to mark someone, a different style to show off, it is used to hold anything.

Thumb has an important place in every profession like doctor, engineer, pilot, beautician, computer operator, priest etc.

At last i would like to invite @ifatniza and @mayberling to the contest.

Thankyou

Oh yes, as small as it might be, the thumb also has a function.
Thank you for highlighting the thumb this week and for sharing the boy's story with us. If I was the teacher I would also have given him a hug.

You did the right thing.

Best wishes!

Thankyou for reading my post and appreciating it🌹
