Introduction

Hello Lovely ladies,so glad to share my day with you.Today was a day full of great laughter and joy from my heart,it was a day I and my cousin's family had planned in a month to celebrate a maiden birthday of our beloved long awaited only son in between three girls.His name is Testimony
We celebrated his first birthday as clocks
one year.This child is indeed a testimony because of some miraculous,supernatural circumstances surrounding his birth.His mum carries his pregnancy for more than four years before birthing him,a condition we used to hear afar off,but it happened to my entire family.After years of rising expectation and hoping against the odds of hope with prayer and series of intercessory
prayers this child finally came out alive and guess what! a baby boy that we all prayed for,most importantly too,the mother was
safe and sound.He is indeed an answer to our collective prayers and a blessing to our entire family.

In the morning I woke up early at 4:30 hurriedly prepared to go my usual place of stress
What else if not that tedious teaching job,as a teacher of one the core subject and the depressive system of overtasking a teacher in private schools,my mind was already beating with fear of work loads and pile up of uncompleted tasks waiting for my arrival.I didn't bother about breakfast.I was keeping time waiting for the appearance of the sun's hue so that I could leave home.

At 6:45 the sun shone up,with the force of
a staggering energy I hasted to school. As I reached I supervised the late-comer students to tidy up the environment by sweeping and picking,having sat down few minutes after morning devotion,I started moving about different classes offering lessons and the marking of class activities
In all of these my mind was still reflecting on attending a first birthday party of my nephew.Every other things didn't really matter much to me than going to join in the celebration.
Not fewer than later that I sat to develop a lesson plan,the bell rung,school was over,it was as a cacophony,I jacked my bags and ran to my sister's house.

This was around 3:pm,As I reached there,We had
in the menu to prepare a big pot of Coconut rice,a local dish cooked with the coconut milk and garnished with other neccessary ingredients.We chose a big pot because we wanted the food to reach certain numbers of
invited guests and children.Another reason was to give the boy the best ever first birthday party.

Having blended all the ingredients I sat down cutting onions and sieving out the coconut milky water into the parboiled rice.All ingredients well mixed,the big pot was set on fire and the food was ready.I sat down and dished out from the pot to the cooler for keep-on warming till the arrival of the guests

In the evening as the sun was set guests and children were on ground dancing to the sound of music by the Disc Jockey(DJ).I was moderating as the MC,prayers and goodwill messages were showering on the celebrant lending an affirmation to the credence that what God cannot do does not exist,such huge challenge of 4 years pregnancy to become a reality was indeed marvelous.There were assorted soft drinks,cake and wine to gladden the heart,this the family didn't consider the current high cost of things in our country,that celebration truly deserved to be taken as one of the priority of the moment.After cutting of the cake, food and drinks were served going by the rhythm of the music interlude.

As soon all things were done and dusted,I retired home with a bundle of joy from my heart

Conclusion

In conclusion today was interesting and one of the memorable day in my life,celebrating a miracle turn around of a protracted case of pregnancy in my cousin's life,and the reality of seeing the long expected child being alive,and be the same sex yearned for made my day worth it,It was one of a kind of celebration I will never forget in a hurry because of the miraculous experience I have seen in my family.
I wish more of this kind of celebration to come in the future.Once again a very happy birthday celebration to Testimony.
