Few months ago after leaving NYSC camp in Akwaibom State, I couldn't go home for the three weeks break giving to Corp Members because I had a little issue with my place of Primary Assignment and after that I decided to stay behind and do August clearance before going home but because of the protest scheduled from the 1st of August to 10th everything was put on hold including the Biometric Clearance and I had to stay behind.
So I had the opportunity to travel back home to see my folks last two weeks. So after staying awhile, I decided to traveled back to Akwaibom State my place of Service on Wednesday but it happened to be my worst travel experience. First of all our Bus was Jam-packed and I couldn't see the road clearly from the back. I didn't even know that we were in one Vigilante group check point and they seized my phone and I had to pay before they gave it to me. Infact that was the Genesis of my problem.
After the driver drove off, not up to 30minutes our Bus broke down and it took up to 1 hour before it got fixed. After driving for an hour, the Bus suddenly stopped and the driver went to buy fuel from a Black market. After 30minutes the man stopped again and he said that the Fuel had finished and the money they allocated to him has finished.

One of the Passengers give him #20,000 to buy fuel but it didn't last up to 2 hours. The Bus kept on stopping at intervals and everybody in the Vehicle was complaining bitterly but the driver snubbed us. This continued until we got to Uyo around 9pm and by the the time he dropped us, there was no bus going to my area. I had to call my sister who begged her colleague to come pick me up. A Journey of 7 hours turned to 13 hours
