The Diary Game #60: Share your day with us! By @rossnenye

Hello beautiful ladies, good evening to you all, hope your day all went as planned? Welcome back to my blog. I had a quite an interesting and exhausting day yesterday the 17th day of November 2024.

I woke up at exactly 5.45am in the morning, said my morning prayers, thanking God for the gift of life, family, for good health, protection, Mercy and for his provision and after that, I prepared and left the house for 7.O'Clock mass with my sister at St Joseph Parish Anna Offot Uyo Akwaibom State. We were few minutes late because we came in when the Mass has already began. The first reading was taken from the book of Daniel 12:1-3, the second reading from the book Hebrews 10:11-14 and the Gospel from the body of Mark 13:24-32.

During the Gospel, the Priest preached about preparing our ourselves for the life Eternal. He also preached on the importance of living a holy Life and being prepared at all times until our Maker calls us. After the Homily, the Prayer of the faithful was said by the Priest.

We had the Offertory and then the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist which is the second part of the holy Mass. After the receiving of the Holy Communion, there was a series of Announcements from the Commentator, Catechist and finally from the Parish Priest who told us how the Corpus Christi Celebration which is next Sunday will be like.

Finally, the priest said the final blessings and dismissed us. From the Church, we went to the Chapel to pray and from there, we went to the market which is close to the Church to buy a few things. We bought potatoes, fresh tomatoes, meat, plantain and Cabbage before going home. On getting home around 11.05am, we had breakfast and after that I started marking and recording my students Test Scripts.

It took me close to 2 hours to do that because the names the students wrote in their Assessment is totally different from the ones given to me by their form teachers.

As if that wasn't enough, some of them didn't write their Class and I had to take the stress of looking for their classes by myself. I finished the marking around 2.30pm in the afternoon. In the evening, we had dinner around 8pm, said our night prayers before heading to bed immediately because I was very exhausted.
