Introduction |
---|
It's been a while since I participated in the Power Up Contest, and this is my first time participating in the Steem Ladies Power Up Challenge. I noticed the difference compared to the other ones I've been part of, and the idea is commendable.
So, in today’s challenge, I’ll be sharing a little tip on how perseverance has brought me this far.
But before going ahead, let me invite @jovita30, @goodybest, and @ceendy20.
Perseverance |
---|
Recently, I’ve seen people that came before me stop posting, probably because they haven’t been getting the necessary attention they feel they needed. I’ve been in those shoes so many times. At some point, you will start questioning your efforts, feeling you’re being cheated, and consider stepping out, but I keep persevering.
Perseverance is not just about stubbornly pushing forward; it's about finding the strength to keep going despite setbacks. Setbacks will surely come; they’re inevitable. You just have to deal with them. If you avoid them now, they will still meet you in the future. I’m a typical example. I left Steemit and came back 5 years later, still facing the same challenge I avoided, but this time with a renewed mind and persevering spirit.
One thing we should know is that Steemit is made up of a big sea of writers, and every day new writers are springing up to get noticed by the whales. So, if you slack on the way, you will be overtaken. I’d like to encourage all of us who are exhausted to always bear in mind that perseverance is not a sprint but a marathon. It’s fine to take breaks when you’re exhausted, but not like my 5-year-long break. What matters is that you keep pushing forward and believe in yourself.
Powering Up My Steem |
---|
I gave myself a target of achieving 2000 Steem Power before it gets to one year since I returned to Steemit. Well, since I moved to “club5050” this year, achieving that target has drastically reduced. You can’t blame me; I need to enjoy the reward of my labor once in a while. Notwithstanding, I have to keep persevering and hope that I achieve that target.
Step 1 |
---|
After moving to your Steemit wallet, click on the Steem. Then, click on the “transfer” icon.
Step 2 |
---|
It takes you to where you will input the amount of Steem you want to power up.
As a “club5050” member, I’m supposed to power up 60 Steem, but since it’s a contest, I chose to be naughty by increasing my power-up. You can’t blame me.
Step 3 |
---|
Click “ok” to confirm your power-up.
Step 4 |
---|
As you can see, my Steem Power has increased from 1401 to 1467 Steem Power.
That’s all for now…
Cheers!!
