The first week of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 13 is over!
With only 61 posts, the community had a slow start. This is a start that we were grateful for, as it is the first season for three of the moderators to "serve from the other side” of the court.
The team performed their tasks well, is ready for action, and awaits the entries for this week’s contest.
SEC13 WK2 “Life partners and their qualities”
Before we get to the nomination of the three best posts, a bit of feedback:
A surprise was the number of men that took part in Week 1. Not only were they not shy about rolling up their sleeves to clean, but they also submitted great posts.
• 61 valid posts received
• 9,08 was the average score out of 10 given to posts
• 0 post received scores under 8
• 10 post received scores under 9
• 51 post received 9 and above
There were some excellent posts with high scores, but in the end, they didn’t qualify due to a lack of following the rules of the contest. In particular, the rule of ONLY two images.
ALWAYS make sure that you adhere to the rules of contests.

As this is an engagement challenge, posts should get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments from other users to qualify as entries at the end of the week.
As we encourage Steemians to support their fellow Steemians by voting and giving quality comments (50+ words), we have decided to reward authors for their quality comments.
