When I read the name of the challenge my first thought that it is related to clothes and of course, there are not many that buying clothes made by one company it was not really a choice for me. You know that when you buy clothes from certain brands you pay not only for a clothes or item but you also pay for the name. That is why for me, I love to wear comfortable clothes and no matter what brand it has and it was not an area that I wanted to highlight.
Many of you know that we do a lot of work in our house, especially when we do renovation and work with the equipment that helps to cut timber boards, measure angles of walls and drilling.
We have tried different equipments from different companies but at the end we were always coming back to one company. Throughout the years we have collected a large number of equipment of this Brand and that is why we can say that this Brand is definitely shaped our life and it is BOSCH

I knew that the company has a name of a founder Robert Bosch, but I was surprised that the company was founded in 1886 and that is almost 138 years old and still existing.
From young age Robert Bosch had in interest in technology and completed apprenticeship as a "precision-instrument maker." When we look through his life journey, when he was 24 y.o. he went to USA and was working as an engineer under Thomas Edison, American industrialist and inventor in the field of electricity. With age of 25 y.o. Robert Bosch travelled to London, UK and worked for Siemens Brothers. It is interesting to know how the paths of such great people crossed and I think they probably influenced each other too.

Let's go through our selections, the first one is Cordless Drill Driver which is very useful to make holes in metal or wood and also to drive and loosen the screws. It is on batteries that is why it is easy to handle only you should not forget to charge it again before your work.
This one is a Drill Driver with hammer function which is powered by electric power, that is why is is much stronger and can drill through stones of big thickness and for example we used it in order to get a hole for TV cable through the wall of our sandstone, which has thickness of 50 cm.
Orbit sander is helpful tool to create a smooth surface that you might need on timber, it is electric powered and has a big power to do its job on metal, timber and plastic.
Oscillating Multi-Tool is there for cutting, sanding and grinding, the fine blades that used can create precise lines of cut. Another favourite equipment when you do any job of renovation yourself.
Circular Saw is electric powered and hand-held tool that helps to cut different materials and leave smooth precise edges of cutting.
Belt Sander is another equipment that will allow you to reach smooth surface when you are working at corners because of the narrow band. Electrically powered it has a high speed that makes your work quick and smooth.
Electric wood planer is helpful tool in two cases if you want to reduce the thickness of the wooden surface or when you want to reach chamfering the edges of wooden materials. From the past it was done manually but again, often it was less precise and also very tiring. This is electric powered one and also has a little bag on the side so that the splits are not spread in the room but all in one bag that you can empty after finishing your work.

Bosch is definitely a part of our life and a great helper in all work that we perform at home. The quality of this brand is amazing, Despite of being expensive long term it pays off to pay the price. That makes the whole work easier and enjoyable.

I own a lot of Bosch instruments, the green brand is more on the cheap side for DIY, but the performance blu series is higher quality , more for professional workers.

I can imagine you are doing a lot of DIY and Bosch is he best for that. We tried few other companies but at the end were disappointed. There are many of the equipment from professional collection, it is a lot to do here and like you say they are higher quality. Thank you for reading my post :)

@stef1 I absolutely LOVE how you completely took this contest subject and threw it right out of the box, lol! Absolutely brilliant! Since we moved into our home I have to say that "style" has also taken on a completely new "look" - one which is a far cry from the heels and perfectly GHD'd hair I used to sport daily when running my business some years back - but I would sooner grab a power tool and a strike a pose in a pair of torn blue denims these days haha!!!
Our tool collection is also growing now as we tend to projects around the property too... and yes, a couple of them are indeed Bosch :)

Hi Jaynie, thank you, glad that you like my post. I actually was thinking about the topic and all different things that we could make a post of but everything was not really right. Last 9 years we are in constant work around the house and slowly we also collected a large selection. I love them all and it is really enjoyable to use some of them. Before doing so, I ask my hubby exact instruction what should I avoid, because I see time to time injured people in hospital after their DIY at home :)

Oh man!!! I am sure the hospitals must see some truly weird and wonderful reasons for people landing up in emergency rooms because of DIY projects gone wrong... its funny, but not, lol.

I also love Bosch, I bought the tool about 10 years ago. Now in the Russian Federation, Bosch costs some kind of space money.
