Empowering Women: The Path to Self-Dependence

Hello beautiful ladies of Steem For Ladies. I welcome you all to a new week. And I bring you greetings from my base, Lagos Nigeria.

I am glad to participate in this amazing contest by @aviral123. This topic is worth discussing on.

I derive joy when I see women who are financially independent. It really gives me enough happiness.

Gone are the days when women confide themselves under that ideology of I am a woman so, and become a liability to their husbands and the society.

But these days, women are doing amazing things financially, and it's so sweet.

There are a lot of good reasons why a woman should be independent.

1. If a woman is independent, she will not be a liability to her husband, family and the society. Rather she will be an asset in the home.

2. She will have respect and value.
   If a woman is independent, she will be treated with value and respect.

3. She will impact her family and society at large.
   Being independent as a woman has a way of making the woman to impact her family and even the society positively by giving back to them.

4. Being independent gives the woman this sense of responsibility.

5. Being independent helps to reduce the burden of financial responsibility on the man, because the woman will be able to support the family from her earnings.

6. If a woman is independent she will be able to also take care of herself very well. Look good to her taste.

Yes, if a woman becomes self-dependent, to an extent it will improve a lot of things about her.

She will have this sense of responsibility to do things, explore things that can put money into her account. Brainstorm on ideas and at the same time give value.

She will literally become a better version of herself. Because she will always be looking out for ways of getting better by improving and upgrading herself knowledge wise.

Being self dependent doesn't stop a woman from paying attention to her family.

Being self dependent is a way of helping to carry part of the burdens of the family.

Being self dependent as a woman is a way of also being financially responsible in the home.

This will solve lots of financial pressure problems in the home.

One of the reasons most women would want to be self independent is so they would be able to contribute to the family at their own capacity.

There is this joy that comes when you are able to take care of something at home all by yourself.

There are lots of qualities every woman needs to acquire if she wants to be self independent:

If you must be self independent as a woman and get something meaningful out of it, you need to be hard working.

A lazy woman will find it difficult being self dependent, because laziness will not let her step out and get things done.

Laziness will not let her explore and make researches.

Any woman that must do well out there and become independent have to have this attribute of consistency.

She must not be a woman that can give up easily on things. This is because there are many factors out there that would warrant you to give up as a woman.

So in anything you are doing as a woman, be consistently consistent to it. Don't give up even when it seems not to be working, some day, it will work.

Any woman that would be dependent have to buy the attribute of self motivation. This is because there are lots of discouragements out there.

So you have to be self motivated, learn to encourage yourself even when it is not working.

Any woman that wants to be independent must be focused in what she wants to do.

Keep your eyes on the vision and the goal. No matter the discouragements around, don't take your eyes off the vision and the goal.

Every woman that wants to be self dependent must get the attribute of patient.

Without patient, you wouldn't be consistent.

It takes patient to stay with something even when it is not working and wait until it starts working.

You have to be patient enough and trust the process until every thing gets balanced and funds starts flowing from whatever you are doing.

There is always a brighter light at the end of the tunnel, but then patient and consistency is the key.

This is me @talktofaith telling all women out there that it is always beautiful being self dependent as a woman. There are lots of women out there doing amazing things.

So many women are impacting their world, society, family etc. Because they took the bold step to do things differently from what they had done before.

So you can't be left out, step out today and do something. That idea that had been on your mind for years, it is time to execute them.

One good platform that I have seen that had empowered women is the Steemit platform.

Lots of women on this platform, are adding value to their lives and impacting their families through their earnings here. And it is a very good one.
