I am sharing a beautiful day today, I woke up in the morning, freshened up, finished breakfast and helped my mother with the housework a little in a tuk tuk. Then I got ready and left the house, we had no plans beforehand, we had planned to go somewhere without any plans. That was the plan, today I would go to the market first, before I left, a friend of mine was waiting for me at the market. Then we both decided to cross the river today and go somewhere.
From Shiromoni market, we went to Fultala by auto, the auto fare was 20 taka, without thinking anything, we both got on a boat to cross the river ghat in Fultala, neither of us knew the other side of the river, we had to wait for a long time in the boat to cross the river, the boat fare was 5 taka to cross the river.
I asked to cross the river and get on the van, they said we cannot go directly to Shiromoni from here, we have to cross another river and then from there we have to go to Ore in another auto.
Where the fare from Shiromoni to Fultala Bazar is 20 taka, we will have to pay 80 taka to go halfway to the other side 😑 Van Ala explained that he would not take another person and would take both of us, so it was too much money, there was nothing else to do. I got into the van and came to the Sonatala river ghat, there is a boat at the ghat to cross the river, that too not propelled by an engine, they still use a boat to row. Even though it took a little longer, I feel quite good about it. Then from there, I crossed the river and came to Shiromoni by auto. I spent three times the money that would have cost us by going straight.
However, I have to say that the money we spent was not wasted, compared to our side of the river, the entire rural environment is full of trees, the houses there are quite far apart.
There are many old houses, many temples, many old banyan trees, traditional religious life is more on that side of the river. Many temples can be seen along the river bank, there are also many cremation grounds.
I have never crossed the Phultala Ghat before, I feel quite good after going there for the first time, but I also feel quite bad about some things, there is a boat at the ghat, due to which the passengers waste a lot of time, those who live on the other side have to go far for any inconvenience such as illness, shopping, etc. It was late afternoon by the time I reached home, today's sightseeing was a little different, I hope you all enjoy it.
