Never give permanent feelings to a temporary person. Don’t find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain. No matter how long you have gone down the wrong road turn back is never too late.

MORNING ROUTINE

As a person my natural alarms sounds at 5:00am or sometimes 5:30am depending on how I slept. Though some days I over sleep. At this hour I was awake and laid in bed filled with so many thoughts with regards to the projects I have trying to sort ways of achieving them. This took me about 45 minutes of thinking then I later prayer and thanked God for the new day.

Today is one of those days I don't go to work as it's my off day and at my part time my students are on break so I will be home all day. I still remained in my room checking some stuffs online and chatting with friends. After about an hour and a half I left to do clean up of the house which took me 30 minutes. I regilled the empty containers in the house with water and then had my breakfast.

MORE IN TO THE DAY

Immediately after my breakfast I started with lunch preparation. I arranged the cocoyam I was to cook and put on the fire. As it was boiling I sat in front of my house relaxing and chatting with my neighbors nanny. Little baby Crystal-Diamond spiced it up as she played with me throughout this time. Within an hour the cocoyam was ready for pounding. My neighbors who were home came to help me. This made it very easy for me and I finished quickly. I quickly made the soup and served theirs. I didn't eat as I had to rush to my mother's house to check on her and dad.

Daddy has been sick for more than 6 months and been on treatment in another town with my sisters. I was elighted to know he had come so I rushed to go see him with some of the food I had prepared. Reaching the house he had stepped out with the driver to do some few things so I joined my mother in the kitchen. He came after an hour and a half when we were just rounding up in the kitchen so I rushed to meet him. I felt so happy seeing him much better that how he had been few months back. He was happy with the food I brought as it is one of his favourite. We spoke for an hour then I left for my house. Immediately had a fill of the food too since I had not eaten.

THE CLOSE OF THE DAY

As the evening closed up I sat again at my door steps doing some beading and chatting with my neighbors, the children were playing and making noise. That's always the case when they return from school. By 6:00pm I got into the house for my evening prayers and spent the rest of the evening browsing and watching a movie and definitely be sleeping by 9:00pm after an online meeting with my Alma matta school mates. This is in preparation for the 25th anniversary of the school

It's been a wonderful day especially with seeing my step father after a long time. Our hearts haven't been at rest due to his health condition. We give thanks to God for granting him health.

Thank you dear friends for sharing through my day. I invite @xkool, @adunni and @abdul-rakib to join the contest
