Good evening my beautiful ladies of steemit, how did your day go,I trust you had a fruitful and productive day. And I also welcome us all to a new week of positivity. I want to appreciates @ngoenyi for always creating this contest, I must confess that it has really helped my innate abilities to come to bear, I say thank you ma'am.

I'll be creating a home made slippers using carton👇

Take a look at my leg,what can you see?. Please ignore the nail polish focus on the beauty.

Those are the materials Used

I picked the carton,I step on it by placing my bare foot on the carton, then I used my pencil to draw a line round my foot, just to get the shape of my foot print on the carton since I did not have a sole of a slippers to use, so I improvised. After that I used my scissors to carve out the expected shape. This is 👇how it looked like

I did the exact shape into four, because I used two for each foot; I meant that I doubled the carved carton shape to make the sole of the slippers a little bit thick. I did that to make me have that consciousness that I'm actually wearing a normal or real slippers.

I picked up my top gum, I started applying it to the two shaped carton to gum them together, I wanted to add beauty to my work, I took my pink colour cardboard cut it into a desired shape and place it on my already shape slippers after that I started preparing the up part of the slippers, by cutting same carton into a rectangular long shape,I removed the soft part and use. You know a carton has two layers. So it was the inner layer I used. Then I placed my foot inside to get my foot shape before I gum the two edges together,in an opposite direction, as shown in those slides.👇

In order to make it eye catching, I cut my pink coloured cardboard and try to do some decorations.
