I've always believed in the magic of childhood – you know, that unbridled joy and wonder we all felt as kids. And guess what? I recently took a trip down memory lane to a place where magic never ends – Enchanted Kingdom in Sta Rosa, Laguna!
Let me spill the beans on the whirlwind of a day I had, and why I'm still on a fairy-tale high from it!
Morning Sun & Eldar’s Welcome
Getting there early was the best decision ever. The morning sun painted the park in a soft, golden glow, and that iconic Enchanted Kingdom castle towered over the horizon. And guess who welcomed us? Eldar the Wizard! Seeing him felt like meeting an old friend. I mean, who doesn’t remember that cheerful, pointy-hatted magician from their childhood?
Ready, Set, Spin!
Our day began at the “Grand Carousel.” Riding the beautifully crafted horses with friends, I could almost hear the music box tunes from my childhood. The giggles, the spins, the ‘faster, faster!’ cries – it was pure nostalgia.
A Loopy, Heart-Stopping Adventure
After our warm-up, we cranked it up a notch with the "Space Shuttle"! Okay, imagine this: loops, sharp turns, and the thrill of being upside down. Whew! I’m not ashamed to say I screamed...like a lot! And if you think you have a brave heart, this one’s for you!
Jungle Jive
Post the roller coaster drama, we found ourselves amidst a jungle setting, known as the "Jungle Log Jam". This ride, my dears, is deceptively serene. One minute you’re enjoying the slow, scenic ride, and the next – SPLASH! You’re drenched, laughing your lungs out!
Flying High with Rio Grande
Okay, so maybe I hadn’t had enough of the water escapade. The "Rio Grande Rapids" was next. And let’s just say, not a single strand of my hair remained dry! As we twisted and turned, I didn’t know whether to laugh, scream, or just hang on for dear life. A little tip: wear waterproof mascara. Trust me.
The Enchanted Airways & Up, Up & Away
Just when I thought I had seen it all, "Agila: The EKsperience" and "Up, Up & Away" awaited me. While the former is a state-of-the-art flying theater where you can experience the Philippines in all its glory, the latter? Oh, it’s a dreamy hot air balloon ride that gives you a bird’s-eye view of the park.
Food, Glorious Food!
Now, what’s a day out without some delicious grub? Enchanted Kingdom boasts a plethora of delightful eats. From the beloved theme park classics like cotton candy and hotdogs to the more exotic fares, my taste buds were in for a treat. (And yes, there were some cheat-day indulgences!)
Twilight Wonders
As the sun began to set, the park transformed. The golden glow gave way to a kaleidoscope of colors. The dancing lights, the silhouette of the rides against the crimson sky, and the buzz of night-time thrill-seekers created a dream-like setting.
Our day culminated with the mesmerizing fireworks display. Every burst of color in the night sky felt like a fitting end to our magical journey. And I, with my heart full of joy, waved goodbye to Enchanted Kingdom – but not before making a promise to return.

This little piece of heaven in Sta Rosa, Laguna, is so much more than just rides and attractions. It’s about recapturing the magic of childhood, reigniting the thrill, and making memories that last a lifetime.
