It is pertinent to differentiate the two words involved in this topic "Fashion" and "Feeling". From my own point of view, fashion in this context refers to anything current and popular which the society tends to follow on the other hand, feeling is a state of having genuine emotion for a particular thing or person.

Nowadays, it has become the order of the day for young boys and girls to get involve in a love relationship without knowing the implication of false love relationship, they tend to enjoy "their dinner too early"

Young boys and girls sees it as an achievement to get into a relationship this days. In a way, the female gender sees it as an avenue for survival as they practically date a guy just to end up depending on him for literarily everything.

In a way, we notice that they do not do this because they really lack assistance from family and relatives but because they are not contented, always trying as much as they can to rub shoulders with their peers and at the end sell themselves to the public and depreciate in self value.

The male gender sees it as an opportunity of having free sex, they need a girl that will always be there at their beck and call to satisfy their sexual urge without having to pay for it always. It is undeniably true that young boys in our generation bets on a girl amongst themselves, you can imagine the gravity of being a bet.

I can't exactly say that love at this age is true because young boys and girls do not have a full understanding of what they are doing also, they only get involve in relationships because of the benefits they get from it.

There is no future for love made at this age because young people at this age are set of confused human beings who with time will get to know what their priorities in life are and strive to set them right.

The belief surrounding false relationship is that you have to be in a relationship to be recognized moreso, it is believed that when you are in a relationship then you have arrived that independence stage in your life and automatically become unanswerable to your elders, which is not supposed to be so.

In my honest opinion, there is no yardstick in measuring true love as Christ is the only one who exhibited true love. Human beings are not perfect so a 100% true love isn't guaranteed.

That not withstanding, true love can be tested through this meaures:

• Respect: If a person truely loved you, he or she will respect you, your body and your opinions, he/she will go as far as extending the respect to your family and love ones.

• Selflessness: One question you have to ask yourself is, Is this person willing to put me first? How far is the person willing to go for me? The show of sacrifice really matters alot.

True love shouldn't be bought with money neither should it be conditional.
