Hello dear Friends...!

It is Thursday, 12th of September.
From my deep sleep, I woke up to my alarm at 5:00 a.m. It was going to be a super busy day as it was little Vihan's first letter-reading day. It is a ritual to make offerings to Lord Buddha, God Ganesha, and Goddess Sarasvati. With the help of my husband, we made all preparations for the small ceremony we had planned. This morning, I had to prepare milk rice, and other meal offerings. First, I got refreshed and started cooking the milk rice. After cooking, I went out to pluck some fresh flowers to offer.
Usually, we follow an auspicious time for this ceremony. It was around 9:00 a.m. but I had to make everything ready before the little one woke up. Since it was a work day, my husband had an important event at his workplace. While doing all the preparations, I made sure to help him as well.
Despite the rush in the morning, we were able to hold the ceremony very simply, and In a way that created a wonderful memory for little Vihan. We wished him a bright future, and he wrote his first letter at an auspicious time. Once the ceremony was over, I shared sweets and milk rice with our friends nearby.
In the evening, we spent our time relaxing. I packed the remaining sweets and reorganized everything back on the shelves. I didn't have much time to rest as I had to return to my parents'place in Colombo. As always, I had many house chores to complete before leaving home.
This time, I had to pack a bit more because I'll be staying at my parents' home for a few weeks. I'm so excited to see my grandma and spend time with her after such a long time. Not only that, but I'm also eagerly waiting to visit my niece for the first time. It is a moment I've been waiting for, and I can't wait to see her. Oh, I'm so excited!
I didn't have much energy after completing the day's task. I fed the baby, and we had a light dinner. Finally, It was time for us to rest. I put down my baby to sleep; It had been a long day for him. He had no clue what was happening, but I'm sure he'll cherish these memories someday.
Looking forward to another adventurous day, we went to sleep.
