Once upon a time, in a small town. There lived a girl named Annabelle. All her life, she had never suffered. Everything and anything she wanted was provided for her, her family were rich, and she waa the only child. But when Annabelle turn 18 things started to get bitter. Annabelle had just passed a scholarship exams with distinctions. She was so happy to announce the news to her parents, hoping they will be proud of her, and she would get to choose one of the best college in town.
One day, her father called for a family meeting, her parents congratulated her for passing. But then her father told her that she will be starting school in the next one week. Annabelle was confused at first because she hadn't chosen her choice of university college yet, so she asked;
"Daddy which school are you talking about, I haven't made my choice yet.", her father replied.
"Don't worry Ann you will love it, when you get there".
Because Annabelle knew that her father had her best interest at heart, she couldn't wait to start this mystery school. She later came to realize that it was a boarding school, and she couldn't wait to experience life in a boarding school. One week after her father drove her to the school, they went to the principal office and everything was sorted out and she was allocated an hostel space, she bid her parents goodbye, and went to her room to unpack. That was were she met her roommate "Sarah".
As time went on, Annabelle came to realize that the school, wasn't just a normal school, it was a school for people who practice magic(Faries). Even her roommate was on of them, but she was good at it. She was confused as to why her father would send her to this type of school. She attended practices, but she never for once successful performed any magic, one day she got frustrated and ran home. Her parents were shocked to see her, they asked why she came back, she lamented that her parents didn't like her to send her there, to someone she didn't fit, but Annabelle was shocked by her dad's response.
She got to realize that she was adopted, and her birth parents were Faries, and that they had signed a contract to return her back to the fairy school, when she turns 18. Annabelle was devastated, she never could believe what she has just heard, the next day her parents took her back to school, she vowed never to see them again, for what they did to her.
Annabelle started putting in more effort in attempting the fairy magics, many at times she got mocked and bullied, but her roommate, who was now her best friend was also there for her, Because of how heartbroken she was she was determined to top her class and also grow a pair of wings like the rest of the students. After many failed attempts, finally she was getting good with some magic, it was just left for her to grow a pair of wings, and she was supposed to successfully unlock her wings before the end of the fresh man year.
It was a month till the end of semester, she still was unsuccessful, her best friend still never left her side. Finally, it was the end of the semester party, everyone was to showcase their wings to the principal. When it got to Annabelle's turn, she thought of her parents and with the anger that boiled within her, she closed her eyes and recited the magic, all if a sudden they were shouting and clapping everywhere, she opened her eyes and for the first time, she unlocked her pair of wings. Annabelle was so happy as she flunt them around.
Months later she graduated as one of the best students, and she got to travel to a Fairy world, where she met with her husband and they had children. She never for once when back to her family, as he promised.

I am not sure if one can study for fairy so I asdume her father knew she is one by birth?
I wonder why she never went back home. Didn't she like her family?

Dear @wakeupkitty, Yes, her father knew she was a fairy, but still adopted her, and promised to return her to fairy school when she turns 18. She never went back to her family because they had betrayed her, they were giving her out to the fairy school without her knowledge, and to think that she was adopted and didn't know.

Does it matter if you are adopted if you are loved?
Why isn't she angry at the fairies?
Thanks for explaining.

@wakeupkitty 😂😂
In as much as I would love to explain everything to you. It's just a fictional story, it's not real, we need to just imagine some things in our head🤭🤭
But she can't be angry at the Faries cause it's of no use, she belongs there and can't go anywhere. But her parents abandoned her there and that's very heartbreaking, even for anyone.

I am sure that there are plenty of young girls who would love to have Annabelle's wings. My grandchild, who is 11 years old, will be one of them.
Thank you for sharing such a magical story with us. I cannot help but to wonder if you have magical wings. (•ิ‿•ิ)
Good luck with the contest!

Haha, I wish I had magical wings
I would fly round the world, and never get bored. I would be happy if I can live a day with a pair of wings. But in a country I live in, people will only laugh at me and call me a witch if I have wings. So I think I like the way I am now 🤭.
