Trade war

 

This week many people in Europe talking about one very important topic and it is about what is happening with Trump and its regulations. Before he was elected, he promised that many countries will receive high taxes, such countries like Canada, Mexico and China. That promise slowly coming to force. Both Mexico and Canada now under new 25% taxes for their products that they sell in America. There are many things that is sold in America and although the countries have high percent to pay, those companies will take this back by increasing the prices on the products sold in America. Actually ordinary people will feel it next month or two how much they have to pay for the agricultural products that are sold in America and also I wonder what people will then say.

By the end of today there is another announcement saying that the high percent of tax with Mexico is now on hold for a month, of course that is after negotiations with Mexican government.

As to Canada, the Canadian Premier Minster Justin Trudeau made the same announcement that the country will increase the taxes for American products to 25% too. Also he made a call to everyone who lives in Canada to buy Canadian products over American. That is very good idea and that will only show that any thread made from outside of country to put a pressure will not work. Buying own products people will support over manufacturers, own farmers and just to show solidarity with own land people.

At the moment there is no taxes against European countries set by America but it is still what is in pipelines. Due to this situation of almost like a “trade war” situation that made the finance markets to shake and also some of the prices are plunged by the end of the day. Who knows what will happen next day and what surprised we will have but this is very worrying situation. But we will keep an eye on the development of politic every morning, that is also one of the subject that many of my friends are discussing even on our subjects like economy and politic.
