On the road

 

It is time for holiday, the semester of Universities are closed and that means we have a bit of free time, actually it is two weeks and of course, by now many of friends and just student mates have already left fo their winter holiday breaks.

I needed to finish my work, as I needed the library with some books, you might think, books? who is reading books nowadays. Yes, you are right the majority of information is in the internet and online libraries but what I love is the fact of being in such a big rooms with many books on bookshelves and also just to enjoy that silence. As nowadays we use our computers and you can only hear the tapping on the keyboard. When there are many people and all typing something then it sounds like rain and maybe that is also something that I really love, something that calms me down.

I am glad that I managed to find everything I need and also to copy some pages that I can take with me.

My time today is get on a train and visit my friend in Wales. I have not seen her for a long time and I thought about train because it will give me time to work on my project. The train takes 5 hours from London to Cardiff, I hope to finish everything till then and we can enjoy just some time together.

Today is Saturday and my hope that trains go without delay, often there will be some work and some lines shut and often we need to look for alternative ways.

For me I am prepared for everything, I have also my food and water, just in case if I need to wait longer somewhere. The important thing is to leave early and hope to arrive by the end of the day.

When I am on train station I love to see the people rushing somewhere, it is interesting that everyone is hurrying up somewhere. Sometimes while waiting and sitting on a bench you start small talk with someone and can find it interesting. Often it is elderly people who love to chat, but it is okay for me. So we will see what this day will bring for me and I hope my journey will be smooth and without any problems.
