Welcome to the weekend! It's Saturday again, and that means it's time for another Caturday update. If you're not familiar with Caturday, it's an old web tradition of sharing cat photos on Saturdays!
Good grooming is important!
Whereas we are still waiting for summer weather to reach our corner of the world, we have almost arrived at the Summer Solstice, which means the longest day of the year!
Although it has been sporadically sunny, it has also been unusually cold around here. Just this morning the temperature dropped to 42 (about 5C) which is near a record low for this time of the year. Brrrrr!
Makes me feel grateful that I am a pampered housecat!
Of course, the Hoomans are not happy about it because their vegetable garden is growing very slowly this year. Hopefully warmer weather is right around the corner!
At least I still have some good sunny spots in which to take naps!
Meanwhile, we're all feeling a little sad about the Cryptosphere taking yet another kick in the shorts.
Seems like not very long ago we were closing in on $0.40 Steem... and now we're suddenly crossing fingers that we're not going to hit a new 2024 low instead.
Sometimes it's hard to know what to believe about this crazy world!

But we're not going to lose sleep over that, and just keep plugging away towards our Steemit goal of 3,000 SP by the end of the year... which should be doable, as I am currently 468 SP away from that!
Maybe it's time to make good on my earlier speculations to start posting more content, and perhaps engage in some of the contests run in certain groups. After all, it's how I built this blog in the early running.
And with that thought in mind, I'm going to take a trip around the community to see if I can find any other cat-related content!
