Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

Well, today — March 9th — marks the 5th anniversary of my starting the Curator Cat blog, here on Steemit!

I think five years is a pretty decent achievement for something that just started as a fun experiment.

At the time, the Daughter-Hooman had just been in film school and taking lots of photos... and we thought it would be fun to have a cat blog as a "soft counterpoint" to all the technical, blockchain and crypto content here.

Somehow, it actually went pretty well... and now it has been five years!

Not sure what the future holds, but we plan to keep going, for as long as there's a Steemit to keep going on! And hopefully, that will be a long time!

I sometimes wonder of there is really room/demand for a blog with cat pictures... but it seems like cats are so popular all around the web that why not have one here on Steemit?

I'm just a little sad there's not more cat/animal content here.

I'm a bit sad that the Cryptosphere — and Steem — seems to be falling off a cliff today... AGAIN.

It sure is a rocky ride in this industry... but I guess I'm not going to lose sleep over that. Because, after all, nobody promised us anything when we signed up for this!
