Will someone adopt "Pancake?"

Every now and then we run into a stray dog that has such an unbelievably friendly demeanor that we go out of our way to focus on them for the sake of seeking a forever home for them. This has been the case with "Pancake."

She was one of the many dogs at the Tiger Cave Temple near Krabitown, Krabi and even though there are a lot of special and well-behaved dogs here, there is something very special about Pancake and that is why she is one of the few dogs that the monks have bothered giving a name to. She follows people around, sits with people, and is always in the mood for some snuggles.

I would take her myself but my house is already too full with three dogs as it is. We are going to keep a close eye on her and we are advertising her as a very strong candidate for adoption. A lot of the time, the stray dogs we encounter as much as we love them and try to care for them as much as possible, simply would be a lot of work for the people who attempt to take them on in their homes because they have become a bit too grizzled by their street life. Pancake is an exception to this. She appears to have lived in a home at some point in her life because her affection towards humans is so profound. Most of the time street dogs are afraid of humans and will only approach them when there is food involved. With Pancake she just seems to enjoy the company of people a lot more than other dogs.

She has been sterilized and vaccinated and we are hopeful that someone will give her a home because she is a prime candidate for adoption. I've seen her interact with children as well and her gentle ways extend to little people as well. We don't often take on projects like this because it is not what our primary focus is but every now and then we run into a dog that is just so special that it seems like the right thing to do.

We have teamed up with multiple agencies in the hopes that we can find her a home either here in Krabi, or elsewhere in the world.
