What is lung Cancer?

Friends, as we all know that the Cancer is a very dangerous disease which can spread in any part of the body due to several reasons. If we define cancer, we can say that, the uncomfortable growth of cells and tissues is known as the cancer. It occurs when the mutations occurs in different parts of body and in results, the tissues keep growing and turns into a tumor which is called as a cancer. The lungs cancer is also quite similar to that process.

This is because, the lungs cancer is the type of cancer which occurs inside the tissues of lungs and then disrupt the normal growth, development and functioning of body. When the tissues of lungs grow uncomfortably, they turns into a tumor and cause cancer. If the cancer left untreated, it can cause serious health problems especially cause difficulty in breathing.

What are the symptoms of lung cancer?

Yes, the lungs cancer can be detected with the help of several symptoms and these symptoms can vary from person to person depending on the type of cancer and the severity of disease. Anyway, let's have a look at some of the common symptoms of lung cancer:

• A sudden weight loss
• Difficulty in breathing
• Chest Pain
• Fever & Body aches
• Coughing with blood
• Shortness of breath

What are the causes of cancer?

There can be several things and bad habits of a person which can cause cancer in his body and affect his life badly. Sometimes, it happens due to the negligence of people because they ignore the early symptoms of cancer and don't take medication to cure it on time. Then, it keeps on spreading and eventually comes with a huge damage in their bodies. Here's are some causes of lung cancer:

Smoking:

• The smoking is a common cause of cancer because, the tobacco contains the carcinogens which spread cancer.

Passive Smoking:

• Passive smoking is also another cause of cancer because, when we inhale the used smoke of cancer, the carcinogens can enters in our body.

Air Pollution:

• Air pollution is also a common cause of lung cancer because the people living at places where the exposure of harmful gases like radon are higher, they can get prone to lung cancer.

Genetics:

• A family whit has a history of cancer patients, are on a high risk of spread of cancer in their upcoming generations.

What is the treatment of cancer?

Well, among the treatments, one of the best treatment of cancer is its early detection. Yes, if we detect cancer in it's early stages, it can be treated and the patient recover quickly. But it spread out in the body, it becomes very difficult to control it because, it keep on damaging the other tissues of body. Anyway, here are some treatments of lung cancer:

1. Radiotherapy:

• In chemotherapy, high energy radiation are used to kill or remove the damaged cancerous cells and tissues.

2. Chemotherapy:

• In chemotherapy, the chemicals or drugs are given to the patients which kills or stops the growth of affected cells and tissues.

3. Immunotherapy:

• In immunotherapy, the drugs are given to the patients which boots the immune system to fight against the diseases.

4. Surgery:

• When all these treatments left useless, the tumors and cancerous cells are removed from the body to control their spread.
