Haemoglobin is seen as a protein containing iron that facilitate the transport of oxygen in red blood cells. HB carried by your red blood cells.

when your Haemoglobin is too low, you might not be able to generate or supply the other cells in your body with the oxygen they need to survive.

Here are few important and functions of haemoglobin in the body.
✅ CARBON DIOXIDE TRANSPORT: Haemoglobin helps to transport carbon dioxide from the tissue back to the lungs where it should exhaled. It helps maintain the bodys acid base balance.

✅ OXYGEN TRANSPORT:
Haemoglobin carries oxygen from the lungs directly to the tissues and organs of the body. because oxygen is really essential for producing energy and the maintenance of the proper function of cells .

✅ PREVENTIONS OF ANEMIA: the adequate HB count helps in preventing anemia, a condition that is characterized by a low level of Haemoglobin or red blood cells. This anemia can develop weakness, fatigue, and others complications if is not fast treated.

What is Normal range HB in males?
In males, the normal range for Haemoglobin level is typically between 13.8 to 17.2 grams per deciliter. This range can vary slightly depending on the laboratory and the specific measurements technique used. That's why it is advertisable and important to consult healthcare provider for the accurate interpretation HB level and to also determine if any further testing or treatment is wanted.

What is Normal range HB in females?

To ensure adequate tissue oxygenation, a significant Haemoglobin must be maintained. However the amount of the whole blood is expressed in gram per deciliter

The normal range for HB level in females is between 12 to 16 grams per deciliter. So when Haemoglobin level is low, the person has anemia.

Thanks so much for your precious time 😘
