What do you know about kidney disease? |

Kidney disease is a condition where the kidneys do not work properly or it can be seen as when the kidney do not do it's usual work in the body due to things like high blood pressure, diabetes and injuries.
Kidney disease can be acute or chronic. The acute kidney disease happens when things like low blood flow to the kidney occur or certain medications. While the chronic kidney disease also known as CKD develops when there is high blood pressure and diabetes in the body the person could eventually get the chronic kidney disease.

My aunty once had kidney stone and this made her knee to swell and she had pains in her chest and also she consume a lot of water like she consume up to 25 to 30 litres of water a day and she did not eat too much food.
How can we prevent and manage kidney disease? |

If you have diabetes what you have to do is to control blood sugar and reduce the intake of sweet snacks and food to the body.
Stay hydrated by drinking water from time to time moderately and this will help your kidney function well.
Avoid harmful drugs and medications that could damage the kidney and also regular exercise can help .
If a person already has kidney disease this is how the person could manage it
1 by following proper diets and less salt and Phosphorus intake.
2 medications take proper medications for health to control blood pressure and diabetes.
3 in some cases that have become chronic they have to perform kidney transplant.
Symptoms of Kidney Disease
The symptoms or signs of kidney disease
- Fatigue
- Swelling in feet and ankles
- Itchy skin
- Frequent urination
- Nausea and vomiting
- Trouble sleeping
Causes of Kidney Disease
Diabetes
High blood pressure
Family history and inheritance
Medications and more
A kidney disease can be managed and treated effectively by understanding the symptoms,causes and adopting early precautions and regular medical precautions.
