"Health a free right"

I am here to participate in this amazing contest organised by @edgargonzalez in the healthy steem community, Basic healthcare centre is very important in every countries, society without adequate hospital may find it difficult to fight disease outbreak which may eventually lead to increase in death rates.

What do you understand by free public health?

Free public health is the process where citizen have access to free medical service without paying any money to receive treatment in the hospital. Citizen have the rights to receive such treatment but nowadays things have change drastically where patient pay huge amount of money to receive care.

Poor people are the most targets citizen that need free medical service because majority of them are living in poverty which is very difficult for them to eat three good meal in a days.

As a citizen of a country it's our right to receive free medical service, we pay tax on weekly or monthly basis for government, the drugs giving to the patient must be free without paying any dime so as to ensure citizen enjoy quality of life.

Also, free public health service will reduce mortality rates in our country because every one will stay active all day long.

Is health in your country a free, semi-free service or do you have to pay to acquire it?

Public service is not free in my country, citizen would first of all pay for the folder so as to enable the doctors record the test that have been carried out after doctors successfully diagnosed what cause the sickness they will prescribe drugs for patient and direct him or her to go pharmacy and purchase drugs.

Drugs are selling with huge amount of money, sometime patient cannot be able to afford them and some even die due to high cost of drugs. Government hospitals in my country often demand fees for using bed space which is very bad to hear about that.

Public hospital suppose to be free to every individuals because poor people rely on them for treatment. Their is no free surgery, patient needs to pay before they can commence any operation. They will not attend to patient unless they pay amount of money they demand for.

Public hospitals in your country have the medical services and supplies necessary to care for patients?

Public hospital in Nigeria is in bad condition, their is no renovation on the existing one. Their is no comprehensive healthcare centre in rural area majority of them travel down to urban area to receive medical service.

Government needs to build new hospital in those area in order to save their life, Most of the hospital in my country lack equipments they use to perform operation for patient who require surgery.

In facts, most of our hospital equipments are outdated in which modern one are not available in the hospital laboratory. Government abandon our hospital and travel abroad to receive quality health care service leaving their citizen to suffer.

We don't have enough drugs and machine use to diagnosed the condition of patient are not working perfectly, some of the machine often give wrong information about the patients condition.
