Monkey pox is a viral infection that spreads from animals to humans.As you might know from its name, Monkey, this virus was once found in monkeys and from which it was transmitted to humans.It enters from person to person through each other and it can also be done by touching a contaminated surface.

The disease is caused by the monkeypox (MPVX) virus, which was first discovered in monkeys in 1958.The virus was first transmitted to a nine-month-old baby that was commonly found in squirrels and monkeys. The name monkeypox was given because it is caused by monkeys, the virus found in them.
