Old age is a crown of beauty. Those with grey headedness are mostly referred to as elderly ones. If God cares for them despite their old age and look, how about us humans? We should also care for them because that's the only way we'll please God in that aspect. My humble and forever dependable moderator @sahmie you're a great contest organiser and I'm happy to participate in this contest.

How can we promote better health for the elderly in our communities?

They're old they're weak and they find it difficult to walk or stand for a long period of time. To promote better health for the Elderly in my community I need to help them access the community healthcare centre easily without prevention and cue.

Engaging in exercise such as riding a bicycle and the likes of them is another way to promote better health for the elderly in my community. I've been looking around my community and I've not seen such a thing. Could this be one of the reasons elderly people in my community are dieing even when the look strong on flesh? Exercise is very good because it keeps us fit and active for upcoming challenges and activities.

Don't let them feel rejected. Elderly people believe and expect us teenagers with fresh blood running in our veins to rapour and make them feel like human, but if we act the other way round it'll be detrimental to health and as such barrieing better health.

What are some ways we can promote good mental health and well-being in older adults?

Eating balance diet will guarantee a healthy lifestyle, so to promote good mental health and well-being in older adults we should serve them with nutritional and balanced meal everyday. Though they're old aged people, they still have different activities to partake in, so adding multivitamins in their food will belp supplement it and promote their mental health.

"Adequate sleep is very crucial to one's health" said the doctor. To promote good mental health, we should let them know the need of having a good sleep everyday. I know most of these elderly people can be stubborn at times but with effort, we can encourage them to have a good sleep everyday.

Share some strategies we could use for managing chronic pain in the elderly?

The more their age increases the lower their immune system works. Feeding them with drugs such as painkiller or pain relief everyday isn't the best thing to do. They're some natural leafs and herbs we can give them so that those chronic pains will flew away without returning. Here are some of the leafs when mixed together can work perfectly for any chronic pains in the elderly.

What can we do to improve access to healthcare for older adults

It's always frustrating and unkind seeing elderly people struggling in a cue just to take medications for free at the healthcare centre. To improve access to healthcare for older adults, we should create their own passage at the healthcare centre with a special healthcare team to attend to them. With so doing, they won't be struggling at the end get insulted all because of medications and treatment.

What can be done to address social isolation among older individuals?

Teenagers do have a group of friends in which they partake in any fun activities together. Don't you think the elderly people need this too? Of course they need that socialisation. It's not a big deal to call them together, organize and play a game, crack jokes, fairy tale and the likes of them. That little moments you spend with them will be unforgettable because the joy in their heart will flow like a river.

CONCLUSION

We'll one day be old, the same way we'll like to be treated, let's do the same to the elderly people we have around us because the same Stone you throw in the sky will surely come back.

I invite @goodybest @bossj23 and @patjewell to participate.
