INTRODUCTION |

It's been a while you seek for medical attention, said the doctor. I won't be visiting you always as before, said the patient, the doctor asked why? The patient replied "An apple a day keeps you (doctor) away". It may sound funny but that saying is a true fact. I appreciate my humble friend @sahmie for organising this contest. Yes, I've heard this saying before. I've gone through numerous novels and I've encountered this saying. It means that eating or consuming an apple regularly will stop you from visiting the doctor because of its nutritional value.
Do you think eating an apple every day can really keep the doctor away? Why or why not? |

Eating an apple everyday can keep the doctor away. My neighbour testified this, she has been visiting the doctor almost every week because of her heart pains and all the treatment didn't yield any positive results. Who knows maybe the doctor wanted to use her as money making machine.
After some months, she explained everything to her friend and she told her about the nutritional value an apple has and it can help keep the doctor away. She doubted tho, but decided to give a try. She went to the traffic light to get some fresh apples, she consumed it regularly till date, guess what? She's no longer seeing the doctor again and her heart pains isn't coming back as usual, so truly "An apple keeps the doctor away".

"Stop eating surgery foods and snacks, they're not good for your body" said most parents. They say this because they know that taking such foods into our body system will weak our immune.
Foods that can help us stay healthy
- Beans
- Plantain
- Cocoyam
These are nutritional foods that contains iron so it's best recommended by doctors to eat such foods. Taking about cocoyam, most people don't like eating it because it itches in the anus, yes it itches no doubt but that itching has positive impact in our body. Eating cocoyam is very good because it'll prevent us from having pile.

Eating apple fight against heart health issues that's why anybody with heart pains, the doctors do recommend apple fruit for them. Apple helps in regulating blood sugar level and also help in weight gain management.

1 carrot per day keeps doctor away. I'm bringing up this because I've seen what carrot has done in my daily life. A day don't pass without eating atleast 1 carrot until my friends start calling me carroti. Most at times i convert it to juice.
When we eat carrot everyday, our body will transform it into vitamin A which helps our skin to glow and our immune very active. When our immune system is functional properly, what's the need of visiting the doctor? So it's good to know most of these things.

Most doctors find it fun getting money from us all in the name of finding solution to our sickness. Let's reduce the level of this by eating food and fruits with nutritional values such as apple and carrot.
