Q:What are the main blood types and how do we know which one we have?
As discussed above the 4 types of blood groups or main types; which are A,B,AB and O. All of them have + or - sign, this positive(+) shows presence of protein on blood which is Rh factor and negative(-) sign shows absence of protein Rh factor.
Our blood is tested with certain chemicals to which is shows variations that means this blood is present and when variation is not appears with tests so the blood group is absent and other tests are carried to find the blood group.
For this you have to physically submit your blood to a laboratory to test it.
If you want to check your blood group for free so donate your blood to help someone and also you will check your group, you are also helping a person which is great deed.
Why is it important to know our blood type?
It is important to know your blood groups because when someone needs a required blood so you can donate it and also when you need a blood. Moreover, you can know about the chances of blood group which is gonna happen in your kids when comparing with your partner or wife.
How do blood types affect our health and why do they matter in medical treatments?
There are some blood groups which causes heart attacks which is ABO gene, it is in A,B,AB blood groups but you don't have to be worry because death is from Allah not from heart attack and heart attack not only happens by ABO gene, there are a lot more reasons for it, the main reason is blockage of veins due to fats. However, ABO gene is absent in O blood group.
Blood group matter medical treatment because certain blood group can accept other blood groups to be treated in one body.
e.g. O+ can donate blood to all the positive ones: A+,B+,AB+ and O+.
This is why it is important to know about blood groups.
Why are some people considered to be universal blood donors while others can receive blood from only a few?

The above list shows that O- is the universal donor and AB+ is the universal acceptor.
O- blood people feel lucky because they can help everyone's life when they need blood and AB+ feel because they can take blood from everyone, like, a cellphone which can be charged from every charger.
I support the O- one because they can help everyone's life, I love people who cares about others.
I have O+ blood group and I always donate it when someone needs it and when my 3 months time period completes then I donate my blood. Now on 6 September my time of 3 months have completed and will donate my blood to a needy person, Inshallah.
