Eyes are important part of our body, it's function is to provide the body the visual effects, these two eyes are very important for living things; animals and humans. Eyes are guidance of the way which we are going to cover or take, it guides us what we are eating, do our hands, face or our body is clean or not, are we wearing the right clothes or not, eyes helps us in every ways so we should be careful and take care of our eyes.
Q: What is Sore Eyes?
  • Sore eyes are the irritation, swelling or pain in the eyes, due to it a person feel irritation and discomfort.

There are various reasons due to sore eyes

Eye Strain: Problem in eyes, swelling.
Dry eyes: Due to overtime screen use and medical reason.
Allergies: This can be the biggest problem associated with eyes problem.
Infection: Eyes infection creates pain and swelling, many reasons behind infections, like smoking, external reason, infection's allergy from animals and plants.


Q: What advice can you give to deal with eye strain or irritation? Especially for those who spend a lot of time on screens

  • First of all the best way is to apply 20-20 way, looking at the screen for 20 minutes we should relax our eyes by looking away from the screen for 30 seconds; looking far areas from our body.

  • Screen Setting: Adjusting the brightness of the screen; normal brightness. Using blue light filter to reduce eyes strain and using right of screen, which can be clear and provide best graphics, also specific text size can help to reduce eye strain.

  • Using blue light filter glasses for computer use, doing your computer work or project.

  • Reduce using of cell phone or other electronic screen before sleeping, a hour will be fine.

  • Doing eye test to check your visual, is it possible to seek properly or you need glasses for your eyes.

  • Avoid looking to the screen while having pain in the head due to screen light, stay away from the screen for a day; it will be better if you walk in the greener areas which will quickly relax the eyes.
