In a country such my beloved Bangladesh , It is very important to take care of our eyes, not only so that we look good, but also so that we stay healthy. Our eyes have a lot of challenges like from the dust, pollution and long hours staring at screens. That’s why I am following a simple but healthy routine for eyes.
After I wake up I wash my face and eyes with clean water every morning. It cleans off any dust or oil that has built up overnight and certainly makes my eyes feel fresh. Whenever I go out I always make sure wearing my sunglasses for safety from sunlight and harmful dust. Because without sunglasses can hurt your eyes. It’s important to use good quality ones.

I take small breaks for the rest of my eyes when I work on my phone or computer for long. Sometimes I close my eyes for a minute or I look at my indoor plants or greenery outside the window. It helps to make my eyes less tired. When I have free time i put thin slices of cucumber on my eyes and relax 10 to 15 minutes. I don’t always get time to do this. But it helps to reduce eyefatigue and also refreshes the skin around my eyes.
I also eat healthy food which good for the eye, like carrots, pumpkins and spinach. On winter I eat carrot lots and on summer, I drink fruit smoothies with milk. They provide vitamins to keep my eyes strong enough for my body.
Just before bed I gently massage some coconut oil or aloe vera gel around my eyes. It makes my eyes relax and skin smooth. It’s a soothing treat sometimes to dip a cotton pad in rosewater and place on my eyes for a few minutes.
Finally, I go to the eye doctor every once a year to check my eye. Last year i can't go to doctor for busy time. Whenever I spend time outside, after coming back, I wash my eyes with clean water. Besides, I also don’t let much bright light from phones and TVs hurt my eyes.
This routine keeps me away from eye fatigue. So, if you want to, you can try out these steps as well, which are simple but are pretty effective.

Your eye care habits are great for maintaining the health of your eyes and the skin around them. Using coconut oil or aloe vera gel to massage the eye area not only helps with relaxation but also moisturizes sensitive skin. Using cotton dipped in rose water is also an effective natural way to soothe tired eyes, especially after a long day of activities.
In addition, the habit of washing your eyes with clean water after coming from outside is a great preventive measure to remove dust or particles that may have entered your eyes. Reducing exposure to bright light from your phone and TV shows that you really care about your eye health in the long run.
But don't forget to still schedule a visit to the eye doctor, even though you are busy, because regular check-ups are very important to detect problems early. This combination of natural habits and medical steps shows your complete attention to eye health. Well done!
