Greeting! Fellow Steemians |

I hope everyone is enjoying their good health at that time. I am Asad and I am here to participate in a contest arranged by @afzalqamar with the name of KIDNEY DISEASES. Let me introduce myself once again, my name is Asad, A food science graduate, and a Food Technologist from Pakistan.
First of all, I would like to thank all my fellow members in this community who are supporting each other and making the community better.

KIDNEY DISEASES
Kidneys are the most vital organs of our body, filtering blood, removing wastes, and balancing the fluids present in the human body. If any type of disruption or harm occurs in kidneys then it will lead to many types of diseases.
Mainly two types of kidney diseases occur in humans and they are the following:
- The AKI (Acute Kidney Injury): Sometimes the kidney loses its functions suddenly for example it loses its ability to filter our blood. This type of disease is called AKI.
- The CKD (Chronic Kidney Diseases): when the kidney loses its ability to filter blood gradually over time, it is referred to as CKD.
Experience of Kidney-Related Issues: |

I am sharing a story from my family, my uncle who is now in his late thirties, got kidney disease about 5 years ago. He was active and living his full life, but one day he got pain in his ankles. At first, he thought of some kind of tiredness due to the workload in the office, but when 2 to 3 days passed and the pain remained the same, than he visited the doctor.
By the doctor’s report, we were shocked, he was diagnosed with early-stage Kidney disease. He then changed his complete lifestyle, removed fast food permanently from his life, shifted towards organic foods and a healthy diet, and took medicines regularly. Now after many years, he is again enjoying his full life.
Prevention and Management of Kidney Diseases |
---|
Following can be the prevention and management strategies
- Proper Hydration: Drink at least 6 to 7 Glasses of Water per day on average.
*Eating Organic Foods: Shifting on organic diet and leaving a fast food diet. - Exercise Daily: At least do 1000 steps daily.
- Blood Tests: Individuals with having already kidney diseases need to measure their BP levels at regular intervals.
In the end, I am mentioning active members of this contest for example @stef1, @khokonmia, @akareen, @jannat12, @syedbaider, and @megareigns, to seek support and increase my connections.
