Share how you should care your wound in case it is deep

There are various types of wounds on the human body, cuts, accidents, surgical wounds, hypothermic wounds, minor wounds and major wounds etc. Regardless of the type of wound on the body, you need to keep the wound area clean to dry the wound. The wound area should first be cleaned thoroughly with water, so that there is no dirt. Sterile gauze should be used. If the wound is small, it is best to bandage it lightly with three to four coats of antibiotic ointment or petroleum jelly without applying much pressure. But another thing is that the wound area must be kept moist all the time or it will not dry quickly. Human body wounds should be treated quickly. Suddenly a small metal sheet or screw entered your leg while walking, but you didn't pay much attention. After a few days you will see that the reaction has started. So whatever kind of wound or pain you have, you need to treat it immediately.

A tetanus injection should be given in case of any kind of wound, or there will be problems later. As far as I know my father-in-law had a minor cut on his leg a year ago, but he didn't care and water was applied all the time. Suddenly one day I heard that there was a huge wound and rotting. There was a small cut but it cost about 50000 rupees to repair, not only that it took almost two months for the wound to heal. Many times, it is seen that if the wound is not treated on time, the wound site can turn into cancer. Therefore, in my opinion, any type of wound in the human body should be consulted by a doctor on time. Medicines should be taken as per schedule.

We may take the following steps in Caring for wounds;

  • apply pressure to stop the bleeding
  • we clean the wound with warm water or methylated spirit
  • bandage the wound
  • Take antibiotics and inject tetanus
  • we have to properly dress, and change bandages daily to avoid contamination.

I feel the above steps may help in healing a wound. Thank you for your write-up, I enjoyed reading it.
