Hello to the community! It's good to be here in the Healthy community, for another interesting contest by @aaliarubab.
Organ donation! Well, this is a somewhat more complex topic than the name suggests. As we know, with technological advancement, the health sector has been enormously developed. So, with that, Organ transplants have become a major way of saving people's lives and giving them another chance. We generally see people and hospitals looking for kidneys, livers, hearts, lungs, eyes, etc from potential donors.
When this becomes a great humane act, there's a part of people who appear on the dark side. So, let's see how we draw the line between legal and illegal sides!!
The Legal side
As I said earlier, this is a matter of saving people's lives. So, in many countries, there are certain, and highly regulated laws to ensure the correct procedure. It's to safeguard the transparency and justice of all the parties in the process.
The most important thing is this should be solely done on full will of the donor, without any threat/ manipulation. As far as I know, the transplantation process is done on the priority list according to the severity of the medical condition. Specialists should ensure the health and safety of both the donor and the patient. Everything should be matched and proper processes should be implemented to prevent any after-effects.
So, as you see, legal organ donation is a highly organized and regulated process that it protects the ethical and noble value of the act.
The illegal side
Well, I don't like to name this side as a donation, but it's a dark business that is a disgrace to humanity. These people take advantage of desperate people. I think most of you have seen the thing I am talking in movies.
On one hand, some thieves engage with the poor/ refugee people and buy their organs promising payment. Things become even worse, as human traffickers illegally take people for the organs and sell them on the black market. T
And also desperate family members also can get manipulated by these people, giving money and trying to cut corners to save their patients. Either way, this can be very risky for the donors as poor conditions are used and without proper checkings patients' lives can be in danger as well.
So, you see legal organ donation is a noble act to save someone's life and give hope to their family. It's done ethically above all. But just like in every matter the other side also rises in the criminal world, providing risk and disgrace to humanity. So, it's everyone's responsibility to choose the correct path no matter the situation!!!
Thank you once again for hosting this nice contest. I invite @sachisewwandi, @senehasa, @simonnwigwe to the contest!

Organ donation should be legal, because it saves countless lives. When it done ethically, the people who want them can spend a healthy life. Legal organ donation will ensure safety for both donors and recipients. When it done legally, the living people encourage more to donate their organs after their death.
