Inflammation

Inflammation has become a problem nowadays that most people are worried about.

Inflammation is a process of the body. When there is an injury to the body or we fall prey to infection, inflammation occurs to protect the body. It is also called swelling in common language. Sometimes there is a problem of too much inflammation in the body, then it can also cause a serious situation.

If the problem of inflammation persists in the body for a long time, then it gives rise to many diseases.

Symptoms of inflammation:

Fever, stomach ache, chest pain, fatigue or insomnia, joint pain or stiffness, watery eyes, red rashes on the skin, ulcers in the mouth, sneezing from the nose, excessive weight gain or loss.

Causes of inflammation:

Injury and infection usually cause intense swelling.

Inflammation in the body can occur due to many reasons.

  Due to injury:

Inflammation can occur due to any type of injury in the body.

  Chemicals:

Corrosive chemicals like acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents can also cause inflammation.

  Infection:

Infectious agents like bacteria and viruses can cause inflammation in the body.

  Excessive alcohol consumption:

Excessive alcohol consumption can cause liver problems which lead to inflammation.

  Poor eating habits:

Packaged food, ready-to-eat food, Chinese food, pickles, spicy food can also cause inflammation.

  Pollution and smoking:

Smoking and exposure to high levels of pollution in the air can also cause inflammation.

 Excessive stress and excess weight:

Taking too much stress or being overweight can also cause inflammation.

Treatment of inflammation:

  Balanced diet:

We should include a balanced diet in our diet.

Spices like turmeric, ginger and garlic have anti-inflammatory properties, we can include them in our diet.
We should stay away from things that increase inflammation like white bread, fried foods, soda, drinks etc.

 More water:

Water is an anti-inflammatory fluid. We should drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water daily.

In case of inflammation, we can also drink our water by adding mint leaves, ginger pieces, basil leaves, or raw turmeric pieces.

 Lemon water:

Lemon has anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in healing the damaged tissue of the body and reducing inflammation.

 Rest:

A little rest is also very important when there is inflammation. Because our body needs energy to fight infection, along with a balanced diet, rest also gives energy to our body.

That is why we should get enough sleep.

 Oil massage:

Massaging oil on the area of ​​inflammation also provides relief.

 Yoga and exercise:

Regular yoga helps in reducing joint pain and improving flexibility.

Regular exercise keeps muscles, bones and joints strong.

   Medications:

Some medications are also used to reduce inflammation, however long term use of these medications can be harmful.

That is why we should take medications to reduce inflammation only after consulting a doctor.
