Hello to all my steemian friends,

Today I am very happy to share my post on a very interesting topic, "Healthy Liver" organized by @suboohi in #HealthySteem.

The liver is the largest solid organ in the body. It removes toxins from the body's blood supply.

Maintains healthy blood sugar levels.

Controls blood clots. And performs many other important functions.

It is located in the upper right part of the abdomen, just below the rib cage.

(1)What do you understand by a healthy liver ?

A healthy liver plays a very important role in the human body.

A healthy liver helps in digestion.

Controls blood sugar levels.

A healthy liver converts nutrients into energy. And removes toxins from the blood.

Helps in blood clotting, and controlling immune response.

   Some signs of a healthy liver are: 

   Stable weight, Regular bowel movements

A healthy liver contributes to regular bowel movements and prevents constipation.

   Clear skin

If our liver is healthy, it helps in reducing skin problems like acne and eczema.

   Balanced cholesterol level ,  Adequate energy level.

If we feel energetic, it means that the metabolism is also working properly. And our liver is healthy.
Food is digested properly, there are no problems like gas, acidity.

  Good digestion

A well-functioning liver produces bile. Which aids in digestion and prevents digestive problems.

(2) Write some general tips to keep the liver healthy ?

First of all, we need a balanced diet to keep the liver healthy.
We should avoid high-calorie food, fat, carbohydrates, and sugar.
We must include healthy fats like omega 3 and fiber-rich food like vegetables, beans, fruits, nuts etc. in our diet.
To reduce stress, one should resort to meditation.

One should drink more water. And avoid eating too much at once.

One should have a liver-friendly dinner at night. That is, one should eat light food.

And one should take special care of the cleanliness of his hands. For this, hands should be washed frequently.

(3) Give an example of a health problem caused by liver dysfunction?

Weak liver causes loss of appetite. Vomiting and nausea are symptoms.

Rashes and itching start on the skin.

And sometimes there is swelling around the heels of the feet.

Along with stomach pain, swelling also starts.

Liver dysfunction can cause many health problems such as-

Liver related problems include fatty liver disease and cirrhosis. Its cells change a lot when the liver becomes fatty or cirrhotic. Which also becomes the cause of liver failure if it gets worse.

 Jaundice

The skin and the white part of the eyes turn yellow, which is called jaundice.

   Portal hypertension

A wound in the liver can put pressure on the portal vein, which can lead to high blood pressure and internal bleeding.

   liver failure

It causes complications such as bacterial and fungal infections, blood sugar, brain swelling, and confusion.

The liver function declines, causing bleeding disorders, decreased brain function, and fatigue.

 Hepatic cancer

It first begins in the main cells of the liver.
