This is a very important topic we all have to pay attention to, cause this is something that has affected a lot of lives out there, it is very natural for one to develop a certain habits, but would be very bad if one you have developed is bad, however some habits come to build, help and improve our lifestyle and some comes to destroy lives and could affect the people around you negatively.
Let's first see the meaning of habits, in my own term, I would best describe habits as something one has learn or developed, which forms part of their lives. Moreover, everyone on this planets have developed his or her own habit, in which some people have developed good habits, while others develops bad habit.
What are some bad habits that are hard to stop, and why is it tough to quit them? |

Every bad habits are hard to stop, but definitely could be stopped if there is that action and determination, the exist a lot of bad habits which include the following
- Procrastination
- Overthinking
- Smoking
- Stealing
However, the exist a lot of them and main reason why it is hard to stop these habits is because we make it part in our lifestyle, we become used to it and carry it as something that is usual and normal and we find excuses if we are been corrected, we find a way to present it to make it right.
How can we tell if a habit is just a habit or if it's more like an addiction? And what can we do to break them? |

It would be very difficult to tell if it is just a normal habits or more like addiction as both of them are much similar, and I would say addiction is the advanced one, cause most habit grow to become addiction, but however we can still tell if its just habit or it is more like an addiction, in just habit, you can have control over it while if it is addiction, you will fail to have control over it, as what you indulge in will dominate you.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO BREAK THEM
There are a lot that could be done, one must also understand that breaking an habits does not happen in a blink of the eye, it usually takes time too, but these are few steps to take which include talking to someone who might have experience and could possibly help, set a time target for yourself, which shows how long you can be within committing to it.

There are lot of challenges one could face when trying to quit his or her bad habits, these challenges include; temptation,cravings, fear, and of course also depression.
HOW CAN THEY OVERCOME THEM
One could overcome by socialising with others in other not to get depressed, you try to avoid it for instance if you bad habit is smoking, you will make sure you avoid anything that involves smoking or any place that the smoke, you can also be setting time target, to check how long you have endure and overcome the temptation o f that habit, with time you will be able to overcome them.

Ways you can support others and also encourage them to quit without sounding judgemental or being too pushy include such as talking to them and also listening, at that point they will feel comfortable talking to you, since you have given them attention, you can also pray for them, guide them by following them up, this would help them to take the bold step of deciding to quit
