Medicine changes the brain settings which can lead to addiction because of its side effects which are so harmful. Medication is a preparation used in treating disease, it may be a substance form that contains one or more active or inactive ingredients. Medications comes in many dosage forms which are:
1.Capsules
2.Tablets
3.Liquid
4.Creams etc
☆Why there is a need to say goodbye to medicine?
Medicine is the art of healing or a chemical substance used in treating diseases. Taking medicine is not a bad thing, all body and faith are not the same. The need of saying goodbye to medicine is a choice and not a force.
Some people think it's good for them while some think their safety is ensured by taking it always but it is only God that can heal. The more medicine we take, the higher the risk of those medications interacting dangerously with each other because they are some medicines that stays in the body for hours, days and months. Different factors may be responsible for that.
In so many communities, medicines are abuse because of the way it's been taken by individuals that's why so many people fear medicines and have said goodbye to them based on their side effects like :-
1.Headache
2.Severe bleeding
3.Liver or kidney damage
4.Dry mouth
5.Regular cold and flu
6.Dizziness
7.Behavioural changes (mood swings) etc.
Once a medicine enters bloodstream, the liver will convert it into Chemicals and those chemicals can attract and injure the liver.
☆How can we prevent ourselves from medications?
1.To me, it can be through self discipline by not taking overdose because when overdose is taken, it may lead to loss of balance, chest pain, nausea, vomiting and even death.
2.Seek professional guidance (One Doctor)
3.Raise awareness about the danger of self medication
4.Engage self with different activities like listening to music, playing video games, exercising, people who don't take drugs should also be involved in these activities.
In conclusion
Taking medicine with food or at bedtime may reduce medicine side effects and avoid fried, sweet and spicy foods. Also avoid eating two or three large meals at a go rather eat several smaller meals a day when taking medication to reduce side effect.
